A few of my neighbors bought wired Ring doorbells and they needed to replace/upgrade their doorbell transformer. This did that job perfectly. Easy to install (for surface mount applications) and it just works. I would recommend this product.

I was hired to replace an old 24V intermittently working transformer at a commercial site. I replaced it with this one and the doorbell worked right away.

The transformer arrived quickly, packaged well. The item is as advertised. Fully ready for installation with convient base and holes. Buy your own screws for installation. Fully groundable with the green power lead per USA wiring standards.

I had written earlier that it was faulty, but that was user error. It turns out the wiring was loose. So 4 out 5 stars, as the cut/soldered wire ends they provide do allow for a good connection...cut them off and use the loose braid ends to make your connections, which I just did...no more issues :).

Nice heavy duty transformer. No issues installing and worked as expected. Tested wires and it tested perfectly.

Dead on arrival. I've ordered two of these 24VAC transformers for my doorbell cameras. BOTH have arrived DOA. There is zero voltage on the output. I'm a retired electrician, and yes, I know my Volt/ohm meter works. This looked like a good replacement for my previous 16v doorbell transformer (24v and 40VA now required by most doorbell devices; Ring, Tapo etc) so I'll be re-ordering, but a different brand.

My Eufy doorbell was draining the internal battery every 4 days. It now stays charged at 100% with this transformer. A+.
