Such perfect eggs it could make me cry
I’ve never been able to fully get soft boiled eggs right with the standard boiling procedure and peeling them would be such a hassle afterwards which led to breaking off too much egg. But this egg cooker is a life changer. No joke. It steams them up super fast, in less time than it takes me to take a quick shower as I get ready for my day. Once the beeper goes off and I rinse off with cold water they are DONE. Perfect soft boiled eggs every single time and i don’t know how I kept doing it the hard way my whole life. This egg cooker is one of the best kitchen tools I’ve ever bought. Super easy to operate, easy to clean, small size, and straightforward to follow the directions. Just one press of a button and you are set. I absolutely love this thing.

Reliable & Easy Egg Cooker for Perfect Results Every Time
I've been using this egg cooker for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. It lets me cook up to seven eggs at once with different doneness levels (soft, medium, hard) by simply adjusting the water level. The included measuring cup and automatic shut-off make it practically foolproof. Many users report consistently well-cooked eggs with easy-to-peel shells. It's compact, easy to clean, and nice to have when you want breakfast prep done quickly. One thing to watch: you'll need to experiment a little with the water level for perfect results, especially if you're using eggs of varying sizes. Overall, great value and a smart kitchen gadget for anyone who eats eggs regularly.

Great little egg cooker! UPDATE 10/8/20
UPDATE: 8 months later and still loving this egg cooker! Perfect HB eggs, easy to clean and store. As mentioned in my previous review, this SS model was not supposed to have the buzzer, but it does and I'm glad. I get distracted and completely forget about the eggs...haha. My method is still to put them in a bowl without water when they're done for 45 minutes or so. I found that after the 45 minutes if I then rinse in cold water enough to handle them, they peel SUPER easy. I only do this if I'm using them all within a day or so. They still peel easy even if refrigerated in the shell. ---------------------------------------- I chose this egg cooker because of the stainless steel lid - I prefer that over plastic. It was smaller than I expected, but that makes it very cute! I also wanted one that didn't have the annoying sound when the eggs are done, which this one isn't supposed to have. But it does! It isn't as loud as the example in the video someone posted, so no heart attacks over here. It holds 7 eggs. I used extra large eggs in my first round, which didn't work great because they were too big and prevented the lid from seating correctly. They came out a bit underdone for hard cooked since steam was escaping from the bottom of the lid. Instead of rinsing them in cold water to stop them from cooking, I let them sit in a bowl for about 30 minutes to continue cooking. This made them perfect. My second and third round I used large eggs and they fit correctly. I still let them sit in a bowl for a bit without a cold water rinse and then put them in the fridge. They generally peel nicely, and for the ones that are a bit more difficult I peel while running under water and that helps a lot. You're supposed to poke a hole in the fat end of the egg before cooking. The pin that is attached to the little water measuring cup works fine, however some eggs have thicker shells so for those I use medium pressure while twisting the pin back and forth to make the hole. I love this little cooker so far! I like hard boiled eggs and egg salad, but cooking eggs the traditional way with a pot of water is kind of a pain. This little thing makes it very easy, and again, it's damned cute!

Six extra large eggs are a tight squeeze. This might be too small for six jumbo eggs.
I’ve been using this egg steamer for nearly a year now to make hard-boiled eggs, six at a time. (There’s room for a seventh in the middle, but it makes more sense to turn out a precise half dozen.) It works beautifully, just as described. The eggs come out perfect, better and faster than boiling them in a pot of water. As some have warned, the metal heating pan has already become tarnished, but the sticky residue is easy to rub off, so I see no reason to bother using distilled water, which apparently leaves no stain. However, what COULD be a problem is that there doesn’t seem to be room enough to boil six jumbo-sized eggs. I buy extra large eggs, and the hemispheric metal cover barely fits over them, with a very tiny gap along the bottom that may possibly let out some steam (though I’ve never seen any) but doesn’t affect the cooking. But if you prefer jumbo eggs, this steamer is definitely not made for them, at least not six or seven at a time… a limitation that, considering this is billed as an "egg cooker," is actually kind of ridiculous.

Perfect little egg cooker
Aww man what a great invention! I bought this egg cooker after my traditional egg boiler final died on me. I was initially hesitant to buy it because I was used to the boiler, but wow what an upgraded. The egg cooker size is small, just perfect for steaming, poaching, or omeleting (think I made that word up) eggs so it won't take up a lot of space. I appreciate the stainless steel finish as it's easy to clean. The device has one button on it and once you've loaded it with the appropriate water level (see the plastic sizer cup included), put the egg holder you need in, and put the cover on, press that on button. And it cooks the eggs for as long as the water you put in it takes to evaporate cooking the eggs to perfection every time. Just note that when steaming hard shell eggs, the eggs may have some of the protein escape from the egg and drip into water on heat source and burn once the water has all evaporated but it's not a big deal. Just needs a little clean up (I use white vinegar) and the cooker is ready to go again. Also worry not about the eggs tasting burnt. That doesn't occur. If you eat a lot of eggs like I do, you'll love this thing. It's amazing. I highly recommend it!👏

Elite Gourmet EGC-508
Used for 3 weeks now. Unlike other small egg cookers with plug/unplug on/off control. This one has an alarm, power button and light. Follow the instructions and it works well. I usually make hardboiled eggs and unplug when done. I usually leave the eggs in the cooker (really a steamer, timed by the amount of water added) for about another two or 3 minutes to insure well hardboiled before placing in ice water. The only issue I've seen is that the cover is small for x-large eggs. It will cover, but touch the egg shells. Not seen any bad effects from this though. My "opinion" is this may not work well for larger eggs. Alarm works well and noise level perfect for me. Super functional due to small size. And, eggs strangely, taste like ... hardboiled eggs. Easy to use. Only minor cleaning required. Lastly, if placed and leave in Ice water, easy to peel. Less easy to peel if placed in refrigerator in my experience.

Great until it broke then no support
The cooker was fine for the first few uses. It did undercook a bit but I made accommodations to get the eggs the way I expected them. Then one day, when the cooker was not even in use, the power button just popped out onto the counter; one of the tabs that holds it in place had broker. I reached out to CS, sent pics, etc, and the response I got aske for the same info again, a video, not sure why, and they just kept stalling on taking care of what should have been a simple issue, either send me a replacement button that should just pop in place or send a new unit, I'm good either way. Unfortunately, that seems to have been too much to ask. They also advertise a 2 year warranty on Amazon but claim a 1 year when it actually breaks. I'm trying to figure out a resolution but there's only so much effort I'm willing to put out for a $17 egg cooker. My advice, buy a brand with better support

Wow, it. . . Works really well.
So I do the fast and feast diet and eat eggs on my fast day because protein 'kills' hunger, and I can survive off about 4 eggs and that is well below the 600 calorie limit of my fast days. Hard boiled is by far the easiest and doesn't need any calorie rich oils. I have been cooking them in my electric pressure cooker, which works really well also, but I really only need 4. If you need a lot of hard boiled eggs say for Easter, egg salad, or deviled eggs a pressure cooker is the way to go as you can do over a dozen at a time but if all you need is 7 or less I think this one is the way to go. Also, it is a lot easier to get liquid yokes with this one than it is a pressure cooker. Oh, also I like how most of the parts of this specific egg cooker is metal. Any microplastics would be on the shell anyway but I'd rather have metal or glass. The omelette and poaching trays are still plastic but I'm sure if I got a small glass or metal bowl that would work.

No funciona correctamente.
Es muy fácil de usar. El problema es que se requieren dos ciclos para que los huevos queden duros.

Works as advertised
Works amazing. Its faster to boil egg. We havent tried the other options. As long as we can boil eggs with no issue this is a good buy.

works perfectly
I don't cook at all really, but needed something to make eggs. First I washed the machine when it arrived, assembled it, plugged it in and added water for 2 hard boiled eggs. I did not use the piecing pin. It took about 11 minutes to the beep. I ran both eggs under cold water for 1 minute and then shelled them. Much to my surprise they were the most perfect hard boiled eggs I've ever eaten. I mean they were astoundingly perfect with bright yellow centers, no running, but not overcooked either.. What's more the machine had zero mess to clean, the stainless tray was still clean, the inside of the stainless cover had moisture on it a quick rinse and they were both ready for the next use. Very Highly recommended.
