Amlactin KP Bumps Be Gone Body Cream, 15% Lactic Acid, 3 oz

I’m genuinely surprised by how well this works. I noticed a difference almost immediately. The very next day my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth. After using it consistently (2-3 times a week) for a couple of weeks, I started noticing ingrown hairs actually coming to the surface and popping out on their own. I was impressed! One major warning: DO NOT use this right after shaving! I learned that lesson quickly. 😂 The acids are strong and freshly shaved skin will definitely feel it. It’s powerful, so I use it carefully, but the results have been fantastic. I do wish there was a bigger bottle. Definitely one I’ll keep using.

I’ve been using this 1-2x per day for the past few days and I already see an improvement! Much smoother and less red. I have not had any irritation. It smells a bit weird but that doesn’t bother me.

I’ve been using this pretty consistently for about 2 months and it has greatly reduced the KP on my arms. I do still get the occasional bump here and there but it has improved significantly. I put it on after I shower and the scent is unnoticeable. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because it is a bit on the pricey side for the size of tube it is.

Did not eliminate the bumps as expected, also has a light weird smell.

I was so embarrassed by the KP bumps on the back of my arms and front of my thighs. I have been dealing with KP on my upper arms (and legs but my arms are the worst) for years. I went to a dermatologist as I was so embarrassed and she recommended I try the Cerave for Rough and Bumpy skin which I did with minimal improvement. I'd scrub and exfoliate in the shower, I would apply AHA and BHA serums, I tried a moisturizer with retinol, when I tell you I tried many moisturizers. All these things helped but only a little. Spring and summer are now right around the corner and I was desperate for my arms to look better so I could confidently wear shorter sleeves. I went to AI for recommendations and it recommended this brand as #1. I rushed here to buy it and it shipped quickly. The bottle was a bit smaller than expected for the price (they list the oz, my fault for not paying attention), but upon applying you really dont need much. Its best to apply right out of the shower but sometimes I forget and apply later. It does have a thick consistency so applying after showering does help it smooth on a bit better. It doesnt have any smell, and I didnt experience any skin sensitivity, aside from a small amount of tingling after I apply it. It also is a very moisturizing cream. What I'm the most impressed with was how quickly this worked! I wish I had taken a "before" photo because it literally made a massive difference after one single use. I paid more for my dermatologist visit and the cerave than this product, I wish I had found it sooner. After only 2 days of use, I could wear shorter sleeves without feeling so embarrassed. If you are struggling with KP, I highly recommend this cream.

I don’t typically write reviews but this stuff works! I’ve struggled with KP for years and tried everything. I used a small amount of this AM and Pm and it’s almost cleared up after like 4 days! The smell isn’t the best but who cares if it works. Also initially I was a little surprised at the bottle size but it’s really thick and creamy so a little bit goes a long way! I highly recommend!

I've used so many products to reduce their appearance of KP on my arms now that I'm in my 40s it's increasingly red and noticeable and has actively stopped me from wearing short sleeves and exposing my arms and that's making me really self-conscious. I started using this product and within a matter of days I noticed a significant difference a week in and the redness is much softer and the overall appearance of my KP is reduced. I'm hopeful that within more time and consistent use this will give me my confidence back.

Don’t really see the result yet…

Really does work. The bumps on my legs are disappearing. Little expensive but worth it. Lasts along time and is very moisturising. Love the consistency it’s not too thick and applies easily.
