Sugar In the Raw Euro Sticks, 5 grams each, pack of 100

Third time purchasing this sugar. Especially like the packages are traveling size. Taste is good as well. Not too sweet.

I normally avoid sugar EXCEPT for my morning triple ristretto. Since, from the human body standpoint, sugar is sugar, whether it be in the form of honey, sucrose, white table sugar, or "raw sugar" such as this. From that standpoint I think the concept of "Sugar in the Raw" is more hype than help as when it comes right down to it there's no comparison in value with this versus say the 2,000 packet box of C & H sugar that I currently think has a unit price of under $0.02. Sugar in the raw, as far as our bodies are concerned is just a gimmick. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean this product is bad, at least no worse than table sugar. What I really like about this product is the packaging. The long vertical paper tube packaging is much less prone to spills and messes for my espresso. Would I pay $0,07/unit versus $0.02/unit (250% more) for the nicer packaging probably not. However, since sugar, is sugar, is sugar the packaging sets this apart and since these reviews are not supposed to take price into consideration I feel it's worth the full 5 stars.
