Does it contain vitamin a or cod oil

No. It's made from sardines and anchovies so is considered "fish oil." It's very pure. My doctor started me on it and it made my triglycerides go down 150 points in 2 months! I tried cheaper versions but triglycerides went up again so I swear by Metagenics. Other fish oil capsules are cloudy looking while there's is clear. Worth the money!

Can you freeze the capsules without altering their quality?

It does not need refrigerating or freezing

What is the differnce between this prodcut and metagenics omegagenics epa-dha 1000 dietary supplement,

I first began using this supplement when my chiropractor recommended it 15 years ago. It's the same product now. I don't know where the name Metagenics came from.
