I bought this repellent some time ago to replace the one I had before & the reason for me taking so long to write this is the fact that when you buy this one or another one that states that it's water proof isn't true. It lasted roughly 4 to 8 weeks before it stopped working. It gets plenty of day light/sunshine to charge the batteries but it collects water which ruins it, Don't buy one!

I bought this to try and stop cats from pooing and coming onto our vegetable patch. This does not work at all.At first I saw the cat was cautious of coming near it and somewhat stayed away, but after a week the cat does not seem to care at all.The battery has lasted as it’s solar powered so there is no issue with it technically working, but it does not deter animals at all.The motion sensors are so sensitive the flowers and leaves moving in the wind trigger it so it can be very annoying when outside as you can hear the buzzing noise it emits, and the flashing lights at night time.A waste of money in my opinion.

I turned the sensitivity down but as I live on a corner it went off every time a car passed my house! However, worked a treat on deterring wildlife/cats and dogs.

I have installed this ultrasonic pest repellant in my back garden. It detects the motion when you are in the vicinity and triggers the ultrasonic sounds and flashes the light. Till now it seems to handle few days of rain without any problem and continue working. Hoping it continues to work in the same effectively always. Happy to recommend this product to anyone

It is constantly going off even without any motion in front of it. Everyone can hear the beeping noise and neighbours have complained so I've turned it off.Waste of money.

Worked well for 9 months though the flashing light was annoying. It has now stopped working all together.

The media could not be loaded. Almost all the positive global ratings are for a different product and not related to this animal repeller.Please see attached video so you are aware what you’ll probably be getting a few weeks later.My neighbours complained to me that my alarm kept going off when I’m at work which I found strange because it hasn’t been triggered. It wasn’t till yesterday that I found out it was this animal repeller.The repeller didnt repel any of the hood cats and foxes. Video footages from my security camera still show cats and foxes taking leisurely strolls in my garden sometimes right in front of it. Since my return window has expired, I contacted the seller for assistance and I kid you not, their response was “the cat repeller keeps ringing to indicate that there is no electricity and need to be charged. Please don’t use anything. When you don’t want her (sic) to work, you can turn off the main switch.”The repeller is in the garden and we’ve had very good days of sunshine so it should have enough juice unless the solar panel is faulty. Surprisingly the constant ringing sound is louder when it’s in the sun compared to when I took it out and into the kitchen. See video. Can't comment positively on motion detection as it doesn't work.I won't recommend. I'm trying orange peels now and that's a much better option to this junk.

Very happy with this purchase, the neighbours cat who was using our front garden as a toilet every morning has stopped doing it as soon as we installed this device.The motion detection is quite wide and sensitive, e.g. the wind on plants triggers the alarm.I now stop the device during the day to avoid disturbing our own cat with the ultra sound.
