It’sa little on the cheap side but hey, you get what you pay for. I do like that it’s customizable and easy to use.

So... as reviewers had noted the design is flawed. The retainers don't hold once they start heating up. Because they are the thinnest piece of metal they get hottest first. Then it's a crap shoot. If you rotate the iron on the wrong axis the retainer and the letters fall out. If you master all that, it works great.

Cheap but does the job

i liked the idea of it, especially because it was for my dad because he cooks steak all the time!! the quality of the letter was a little messy, like not the letters themselves, but the piece of metal they were on looked like they were cut out of something but not cut very well. either way that’s not a big deal considering it won’t ruin the branding process, so it’s a really cool gift that I think a lot of people would enjoy and be excited about!!

This shows that it would work great on meat, but we chose to use it for branding wedding coasters. Simple to use with interchangeable letters. Long handle to keep safety first. Wipe clean soap water.

Cute idea for a gift. Kind of thin and cheap letters but it works as it should.

Heated this up once & wood handle split, fell off & now need to be replaced. Chinese garbage. DON’T BUY.
