Necessary when changing SRAM brakes
These are necessary when changing SRAM brakes. These work well, and are interesting to use. They installed easily, as long as you realize the olive is a reverse thread, and sealed on the first attempt. I didn’t get any air in the system from faulty seal. Hopefully I will not need to crack these open.

Fits properly and works well
This is a great little set of barbs and olives for SRAM brake lines. Stealth-a-majig technology is super convenient compared to some other methods of doing compression fittings for hydraulic brakes.

Inaccurate item description
Description and tag on packaging say Qty 5, but I only received one. Also did not receive the torx wrench that was supposed to be included.

Note: Shimano and SRAM/Avid use different sizes
Note: Shimano and SRAM/Avid use different sizes. They use different size barbs/inserts with difference size passages on the inside of the barb. Ran into this trying to diagnosis my rear brake lockup issue. The SRAM barb had a passage 33% smaller or so than some aftermarket ones I was using (not sure if that's the issue). These are super easy to use in any case.

cant shorten srams hydraulic hoses without these
whats to say... these do exactly what they are intended to do. if you're trying to shorten your hoses yourself for the first time have a few extra of these is not a bad idea. def good to have a few of these lying around if youre a home mechanic

Giving one star because that’s how many stealthamjigs received. Not 5! Returns first order thinking it was wrong but received a single again.
