One of the best and most challenging technic sets
This is a great set to build, it's got a working differential, working engine, transmission, working steering and suspension. It was a challenge to build with my 11 yr old son building it on his own in about a week of post school time.

Got this on an Amazon festival offer for 13K The box was completely damaged and was secured with tapes here and there but thanks there was no missing parts or bags inside ,the process of putting it together was great had an amazing time

Worth every penny
I didnt buy this for a kid, I bought it for myself. Iam 39 & a F1 fan and this is a dream come true. This LEGO set is for every F1 fan out there no mattet what team you support. Iam a hardcore Ferrari fan but this Mclaren is a beauty. This build was worth every second i put into it and believe me it took me days cuz i was only building for an hour a day. Bought this for Rs.20,500 and iam glad I did. If you are a F1 fan and don't mind the price tag, just close your eyes and go for it. I just wish there were more such models out there.

What an experience!!!
As an engineer, it was a very wonderful journey to build this car model. It takes you through all basic car functionalities, fairly accurately and its just a beautiful experience. Being a F1 fan, this makes it more special and memorable.

Bang for the buck
Highly recommended for F1 and Lego Technic Fans alike. Do keep in mind that it’s huge (Speed Champions McLaren F1 car for scale) . Deducting one star for the lack of smooth tires,only giving options for wets. Other than that, this is flawless for a Technic set.

Ich habe den LEGO Technic McLaren Formel 1 Rennwagen als Erwachsenenmodell gekauft und bin total begeistert. Der Zusammenbau macht richtig Spaß, die Teile sind hochwertig und die Mechanik des V6-Motors ist super interessant. Es ist nicht nur ein Modell zum Anschauen, sondern auch ein richtiges kleines Technik-Erlebnis. Für mich ein perfektes Set für Fans von LEGO und Formel 1!
