Where are these made?

Hi, our felt furniture pads are made in China, designed in Ireland.

My stool legs are are just over an inch..would you size up to 2" or down to 1"?

A 1" pad will be fine. I have bar stool legs just over an inch and the 1" X-Protector pads work great. I have laminate scratch free floors. The 2" pads are excellent for extremely heavy furniture and would not recommend cutting.

Would you consider making the heavy duty version in grey? The dark brown shows a lot more on mirrored furniture.

Do these pads leave a residue on light wood floor after a while? Planning to adhere pads to bottom of couch on light bamboo floors which damage easily

I can only speak to tile floors. They work very well on tile. I would contact the seller/manufacturer for your question about wood.
