On receipt of this Neem Organic Neem Lip Therapy with L-Lysine, the entire lip therapy tube was encased in a tamper-proof cellophane cover, offering peace of mind that I had received a pure product. I am always thankful when a company takes the extra step to let me know their product is pure. This lip therapy is paraben-free, sulfate-free, and vegan. The label lists the ingredients and product information. There is just a very light natural fragrance to this, which I like, since I’m not a fan of synthetic fragrances. The color is a cream to very light yellow tone.This lip therapy glides on smoothly with no pulling and feels wonderful on my lips, very moisturizing and not heavy or waxy, light and smooth. With the addition of the L-Lysine, it would be especially beneficial if you are prone to fever blisters/cold sores, as a huge added benefit. I like that this Lip Therapy is not only moisturizing, but actually improves the lips long-term, where many lip products actually cause more dryness when they are not on. For a bonus, try rubbing a bit of this into your dry cuticles. The drawback to this is there is really no "flavor," if you are a lover of flavored lip balms, however, it is a wonderfully moisturizing and nurturing Lip Therapy balm. This really is a very nice product with continuous benefits and I am happy with my purchase. I would most definitely purchase this Lip Therapy again and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

If you can get past the godawful smell and taste of neem then this seems to work wonders. I’ve pretty much tried everything on the market for chapped lips without any real success but this stuff seems to be doing the job. Only been few days but so far so good. I try to use when I know I won’t be eating or drinking anything….let it sit. And then when I’m ready to eat I just wash off my lips.

Living in the southwest we need to keep our bodies moisturized constantly and if you’re like me I forget. The result is I end up with severe cracked and chapped lips that last about two weeks and it’s painful annoying and very concerning. This is the first product to really help keep the dryness a t bay. And sure it doesn’t taste the best but that tells me it’s a pure product. This is not covered up by fake chemicals it is the real deal I really like this.

I don't really get cold sores. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever had one. I bought this L-Lysine balm when I felt a hot spot on my lip, and thought it might be the start of a cold sore. I guess I'll never know for sure because I used this, and it never went further than that hot spot. Removing one star for the bug spray smell. I understand that this is Neem's natural scent, but I don't care for it. I'd prefer it if they'd try to cover the scent a little more. I'll still use it, though, it seems like a good product.

Worked better than carmex

No nonsense lip balm, and no added fragrance. The olive oil is the most noticeable smell/flavor and may put off some people, but I personally didn't mind. I've been using this for more than 3 months now. It definitely has kept cold sores at bay and is an overall great lip balm that I use nightly. I actually don't find myself needing to apply lip balm that often because my lips have been well hydrated. I would definitely recommend this product.Edit: it’s now been several years now I’ve been using this lip balm. I stopped using it for a bit, after years of never seeing a cold sore, I got one within days. Keep in mind this is anecdotal evidence and doesn’t guarantee it will work for everyone....but something about this lip balm keeps cold sores at bay.
