finally reviewing my Xplorer pro.My light came in an great box with all the extras listed.The only problem i had was with one of the batteries and they fixed it asap.I took it out too the darkest place i could find and brought two other upper budget class light to compare.The explorer pro was the best light of the three.One thing i will say before i forget is that this light could sell for much more than it sells for now so dont wait long if you want one.Now for the only cons of this light and let be be clear that these are minor and in no way affect this great lights performance.First off is the turbo mode.In no way does it increase by 150 lumens give or take.So that leaves you with a high mode of just less that 600 lumens right? Well idont agree because i think the high mode is only slightly lower than the turbo mode so dont let that stop you from buying this light.I dont have a lumens reader but my best guess in high mode with a charged battery your getting 800 lumens so take what i say for what its worth buy this light and give it a go.You wont be unhappy for a light less than 20 bucks.

Excellent! This flashlight is well made and works as expected. The lumens are not exaggerated like other brands that claim ridiculous numbers. I've compared this torch with one that claimed to be 8000 lumens and the Xplorer Pro at 589 lumens on high beam was brighter. The Xplorer Pro uses the XML2-U3 CREE CHIP which claims to be able to generate 30% more lumens than the XM-L T6 chip. I usually go with single mode flashlights because many are too easy to slip into strobe mode when turning the light on but this 7-mode light has been a pleasant surprise in that I've not accidently turned on strobe mode yet. the other modes are defensive mode, SOS, low, (for conserving battery when brightness isn't needed) medium, high and turbo mode, which is a short term super bright light producing almost 1000 lumens.The light came in a nice box with magnetic latch to store the accessories which include; The Flashlight, 2-18650 Lithium-ion batteries with protected circuit rated at 2600 mAh each, Dual Battery Wall Mount Charger, AAA battery Holder, Battery Sleeve, Custom Flashlight Holster and a Bag with extra O-rings.All in all a very good buy in my oponion.

Finally, I have a great flashlight in my life. We had a power failure recently and as I sifted in the dark through a drawer full of too-big too-heavy crappy flashlights with near-dead batteries and a single option for a beam, I said "No more." Now, in a single flashlight, all my problems and prayers are answered. This little baby is unbelievably powerful, yet provides you multiple options for brightness AND size of beam, which is as fabulous as it is functional. (You can have a nice wide spread of light, OR shoot a veritable laser-beam of bright light hundreds of feet.) If you need a little quick blast of added intensity, the TURBO feature is available. Also, I have little doubt that the self-defense strobe would, if ever needed, be a very valuable and welcome feature; it's BLINDING. Some of the accessories bear mentioning: the holster is very well designed and made. Getting two Lithium-ion batteries is wonderful, as the flashlight only requires one, so you can always have the other fully charged at the ready. Even the storage box the flashlight and accessories came in is notably well-made and convenient. I can't wait for the next power outage!

As advertised /well made/so far very satisfied/I bought for my son which is boy-scout n told me that this is the brighest from all (the only brighter then these R bigger in size ...If it will last long, then this would beA steal of a deal ...I am a real customer/ paid the reg price no discount...take it from a pro this thing has a beam in the dark like you would expect from a huge bulky sizeI also love the feel /great grip/this has 3 reg modes in strength. the turbo mode is only for 10 secWhich I see no use of it, since the highest mode is more then I expected then there is a nice zoomReally amazing /the battery's have a quality feel it holds charge wellAnd the sos & self defence is nice to have ... be advised AAA batteries will not give you the same strength of light as the 18650, but it is a great Plus 4 emergenciesat this price I put all of my cards on the tablereally satisfiedThanks

I got this for my husband. He told me he compared it with another flashlight he likes and says this one is his new favorite. He especially likes the zoom, and it's wide beam is like looking at something in the daylight, things are not washed out like a regular flashlight. It throws a much wider and brighter beam than his other light. He said for working on vehicles, tracking something at night, or just searching the ground for something this can't be beat. He said the distance beam is also superior. What he also likes is how compact this unit is. His other one is too big for a coat pocket, so he usually forgets it in the truck. Now he says he will always keep in in a coat pocket and have the flashlight with him when he needs it. He hasn't used it enough yet to test the battery life, but says it's a really nice feature to have the added battery cartridge as a back up. He's a happy camper with this unit.

I was in search of a "keeper" flashlight (not the throw-away type I usually buy) and couldn't be more pleased with the XPLORER PRO flashlight. Delivery was quick, the packaging is outstanding (I'll be saving the box to store the spare battery, etc.), the quality is high and the performance is fantastic. I have previously purchased high-end LED lights for bicycle commuting and night rides, but had always made-do with cheap hand-held flashlights. Not any more, now that I have this.I was very pleased to find that the flashlight was ready to go upon arrival. The batteries were charged and the instructions were clear (didn't really need them, however) and I was off and running (walking with the dogs, actually). I especially appreciate the ability to use AAA batteries (using the included AAA battery holder) as a back-up capability just in case. Good peace of mind for longer trips. This is a terrific value for a high-performing, complete LED flashlight set.
