This is by far one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I used to use Suavicto pomade but it started to make my scalp turn red. So I started to look for a healthy natural alternative and I found this Pomade. For a little background I'm a man with a fade on my sides and a ponytail or samurai knot. (Not man bun lol) this keeps my hair down and smooth the whole day. I'd say it's a 8 out of 10 in terms of holding my hair down so its good for everyday use. Also I noticed a huge improvement in my hair health! Its stronger and doesn't fall out nearly as much. Another thing I love about this is that it last forever. I purchased thin February and I still have a lot left and its October! I still keep a suavicto pomade for going out or more important events like a wedding. But for every day use I used this miracle pomade! I highly recommend it.

So, this is basically grease. It is just lots of oils. When I first bought it I thought it would be more of either a wax or gel. My hair is very thin so I only use a tiny bit after every washing. I do love that it's all organic! I have used this for years now and I do think it has made a positive difference in the health of my hair!

This pomade is not greasy, use a small quantity. The smell is great but subtle and it is not sticky. I am satisfied with this product.

I am a 69 yr old African American woman. My hair used to be thick and grew well. Several years ago I noticed my hair was shedding and thinning and initially i thought it had something to do with my thyroid or the aging process. Now you know the drill, my doctor did the usual tests and declared my thyroid was normal. I decided to try different vitamins, shampoos, oils etc to no avail. Recently I decided to get my hair cut off . Although some might say that cutting my hair would highlight the bald and thinning spots more. But because I've cut it a number of times in the past and I enjoyed the freedom, as you will, I did it. Also ordered the "All You Need" pomade bc it has natural ingredients . I started using it as soon as it arrived and brushed my hair afterwards. And continued the process daily. Lo and behold my bald spots are filling in. These spots were bare three weeks ago.. I am over the moon! I plan to always have a jar of this pomade in reserve. Although, it's a little pricey, its worth every penny in my opinion. I feel better...more myself. I find myself putting on jewelry and a little make-up. Sorry for the long review but I figured someone needed to read this. I did not get paid for this review.

Ever since Burt's Bees stop making their hair pomade, I've been hunting for an equivilant solution to manage my hair/scalp. Normal hair gel/wax severely dries out my scalp, and I can cause a mini snow flurry by the end of the day. Ignoring the claims of the mericle baldness cure, the ingridents looked very similar to what came with my previous pomeade, so I decided to give it a try. Long-short, this is definitely no replacement to Burt's Bees Pomade. It does have a strong medicine type smell, not unlike icy-hot, but not exactly the same scent. Speaking of icy-hot, this stuff had a similar reaction to my scalp. Felt cool at first when applied, then made my scalp burn or at least the sensation as if I had actually applied icy-hot to the top of my head. Thankfully, it didn't last long, bit it was a bit unnerving while it was happening. Finally, like a few others reviews pointed out, this stuff never fully dried out, and left my hair feeling greasy throughout the day. At the end of the day, I had slightly greasy, unmanaged hair, with a light aroma of bengaid. I did try this product out for a couple days, thankfully while in social isolation, but ultimately I'm going to have to say this product wasn't for me. That's not to say that someone out there won't appreciate this, it just won't be me.

I purchased this as a gift from my nephew. He was experiencing dry, itchy, scalp, and hair loss. It has really helped him his hair, such healthier and fuller than it was!

I have African American kinky hair with dry scalp. This pomade is the perfect texture (not heavy), has all natural ingredients, and is petroleum free!! I was looking for a grease that was more natural and will not clog my scalp. This is it!! I did not know about using pomades for my scalp but I did some research and this product came up. I prefer this over oils because of the control I have to actually grease my scalp with my fingers and to not have a oily residue on my forehead and skin. The pomade is light but has substance to actually lay on the scalp to soothe and moisturize . The price is a little heavy, however you don’t need much to grease your whole scalp so it should last you some time. About the smell, it definitely smells “natural” and “earthy” which I prefer and enjoy. I give it a 5 stars because I personally have not found something better right now on the market. Try it out ladies!
