I have African American kinky hair with dry scalp. This pomade is the perfect texture (not heavy), has all natural ingredients, and is petroleum free!! I was looking for a grease that was more natural and will not clog my scalp. This is it!! I did not know about using pomades for my scalp but I did some research and this product came up. I prefer this over oils because of the control I have to actually grease my scalp with my fingers and to not have a oily residue on my forehead and skin. The pomade is light but has substance to actually lay on the scalp to soothe and moisturize . The price is a little heavy, however you don’t need much to grease your whole scalp so it should last you some time. About the smell, it definitely smells “natural” and “earthy” which I prefer and enjoy. I give it a 5 stars because I personally have not found something better right now on the market. I love that it helps moisturize my hair very well, I can literally go 1 to 2 days without using it. And it adds a softness to my hair that I enjoy feeling. My only gripe about this product is that I got it for dandruff and itchy scalp and it does not stop the itching. I do however have a condition called malassezia and it actually made my itching worse, aside from the for the other two things mentioned, would still use again.

This is by far one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I used to use Suavicto pomade but it started to make my scalp turn red. So I started to look for a healthy natural alternative and I found this Pomade. For a little background I'm a man with a fade on my sides and a ponytail or samurai knot. (Not man bun lol) this keeps my hair down and smooth the whole day. I'd say it's a 8 out of 10 in terms of holding my hair down so its good for everyday use. Also I noticed a huge improvement in my hair health! Its stronger and doesn't fall out nearly as much. Another thing I love about this is that it last forever. I purchased thin February and I still have a lot left and its October! I still keep a suavicto pomade for going out or more important events like a wedding. But for every day use I used this miracle pomade! I highly recommend it.

Using this pomade, my hair loss has been reduced significantly. I apply the pomade after each time I wash my hair. If you rub a bit of pomade between your fingers for a few seconds, it's easier to apply. The beautiful herbal scent fills my bathroom when I use it. I hope the formula of this product never changes. The natural and organic ingredients are good for the health of my hair and scalp, not to mention the environment. You get great value for your money when you buy this product - 8 ounces of natural, organic, hair pomade that works. You only need a little bit for each use. You can buy cheaper products that contain synthetic ingredients, and they may work for you. Those products only make my problem worse.

This product is moisturizing, especially when used when your hair is as dry as a desert. However, I used it once right after the shower when my hair was wet and oh my, it made my hair feel so greasy, but like what did I expect its like a gel. Anyways, its not bad and its moisturized when you wanna freshen up your curls.

I also appreciate that a little goes a long way, so a jar lasts a while. No off putting smell and it's organic! As far as hair growth, I've noticed maybe subtle changes, but nothing too crazy. Would buy again.
