This collar can add a little control without pain for dogs that pull. Pulling can injure or damage their trachea so this collar may help prevent that type of injury. However it must be used gently and not forceable. The clasp is a great addition to this product making it easier to put on and take off the dog. Please do not leave this collar on the dog and use it only for walks.

I have purchased so many different type of behavior collars /harnesses and none of them did what they claim , ACCEPT this one. With in 2 days I’ve been able to control my doodle on walks and without treats. So pleased with this collar. I wouldn’t use the metal type cuz they can pierce the skin and can be harmful. It’s durable, you can size it and it’s safe. My fur baby is 2 1/2 and I wish I had this collar so much sooner, better later than never the saying goes. Highly recommend this collar for anyone experiencing walking or behavior problems. I tug up on the collar the second he wants to do his thing and he stops dead in his tracks now! I’ve been using it for approximately 2 weeks. I can’t say enough about this collar, worth the money and more!

Works great, definitely learn how to use these so you dont injure your dog or have a false sense of security using as a collar, which its not (in the sense its not used for securing the dog). I find the pieces of the product hard to find after first assembly so be sure to be mindful of placement, I aslo suggest keeping the collar in a nearby place for on demand training. Can’t think of a reason for my rating besides losing the pieces, which isnt their fault

I never write reviews, but this time I had to. This puppy is so cute, but so dumb, and would not stop pulling. The first time I used the collar- what a difference! We've been paying the dog walker to walk the 2 dogs separately but now they can be walked together. The puppy pulled my fiancee's shoulder out and now we don't have to worry about that anymore. Also, now I can easily stop him from eating every rock in his path by gently holding his neck up with this collar. Brilliant!

Love the adjustable size, sturdiness, and discreetness of this collar, but my 40 lb lab mix still manages to pull for the entire walk. Will keep searching for something that makes walks with him more enjoyable…

This is great! I've been using a metal prong collar but it's a pain to buckle it half the time and my pooch doesn't like it. This is less intrusive on his neck; I should have bought this years ago because my boy pulls like a sled dog and this slows him down and helps me tremendously.

This is easy to adjust, put on, and use. I have had great success using it in training with my 5 month old GSD puppy and its easy to add links as he grows. It's lightweight, gentle, and my pup understands it as a way to communicate. I've found it to be more effective than his martingale style collar. I bought a second one for my big dog, who was trained on a HS prong collar. It's great for tuning him up since he no longer needs strong corrections. Not sure how effective it would be as a starting point for a big or strong-willed dog. I'm not sure why people think just putting it on the dog will stop them from barking- the advertising might be a little misleading.

My Dachshund might be small, but boy is he strong and could just about pull me over. I thought that I would give this collar a go. It has been really made such a change, as my little guy simply walks next to me and no longer pulls. I have now transitioned to putting it on, but only attaching his leash to his old collar. I now enjoy my walks with Oliver!

Easy to use, but not as effective for a growing puppy, maybe when all the links can be used.

Bought this for our Mastiff puppy to help with control. As he grew we were able to add the pieces, much like you would to extend a watch bracelet links. When he got too big I bought a 2nd one and used some of the new links to extend the old one. Given it's all plastic I had concerns that it would eventually break at one of the link connection points, but it lasted for almost a year until he got too big. It's much stronger than it seems. Highly recommended.
