Much better than the original suction mount
The original suction mount that came with my REDTIGER F7N kept falling off, especially on hot days. I decided to switch to this adhesive mount, and the difference is huge. It sticks firmly to the windshield and hasn’t come loose once. The connector fits perfectly, and the dash cam powers on right away. If your suction mount is starting to fail, this adhesive version is definitely the better choice.

UPDATE: Was annoyed enough to write the original review because that’s how I felt at the time. I realize that it was unfair to REDTIGER, so I have updated my review. Requested a replacement through Amazon and received a properly packaged item with all pieces. Replacement Order: Mount installed easily and quickly. Holds way better and is much more stable than the suction cup my camera came with. Looks good and I expect it to hold up as long as my original rear camera mount. ——- Initial Order: No sticker, no adhesive, no packaging. Just tossed in a bag and shipped out. Clearly not new.

Functionally great, feels like a money grab
Functionally this worked great with my Red Tiger F7NT. GPS functionally worked the same as the suction cup and it saved a little bit of height compared to the suction cup mount. My primary complaint is this really should be the one that gets included in the box instead of the suction mount. Sure the suction mount is a bit more easier-to-use, but a lot of dashcams that use the adhesives also use an anti-static sticker (which doesn't cost that much anyways), some other dashcams include both suction and adhesive mounts, and I get that the way that RedTiger is doing dashcams where the GPS module is located in the mount means they can sell versions w/out the GPS module, but this drives up the price of the adhesive mounts and it just feels a bit scummy where "if I need an adhesive mount, I have to pay another $20 on top of an already premium-priced dashcam": I would rather Red Tiger to include this adhesive mount instead of the suction cup mount in the box.

This works so much better than the suction cup that would always fall off in the heat. Keeps the camera still, best upgraded purchase aside from the unit itself.
