Reviewing Basic model and V2. Perfect. -10-15’ on first try.
Basic Model: Update: even better after a couple of weeks use. 15-20’ degrees less under heavy use, (went from 95 to 80) and 30-40’ degrees less under light use. It’s perfect. NO RGB LED lights at all. But that’s besides the point. I noticed a 10-15’ (Celsius degrees) decrease in temperature both GPU n CPU. This was the first time use. It’s a bit loud but the same as the laptop fans on max speed. 17.3” Alienware 17 R5. Fits well. Sturdy. The front clips are well positioned and secure the laptop properly. (especially for a laptop V shaped front) I will update this review with further testing. So far I would highly recommend. It’s the only cooling pad that actually made a real difference. It’s quite loud on highest speed but thats the point, high speed strong fans will be loud. But not louder than what am playing n hardly noticeable with headphones. It doesn’t bother me I just lower or switch it off when am not using heavy settings V2 model: After using the basic model for about 6 months my laptop started to get hot again, I think the vents needed cleaning and I always wanted to buy the V2 5000rpm model with USB hub and RGB lights so I went for it. And I was not disappointed. It is much stronger and cools my laptop around 20 degrees tops. It came with a 12v UK plug. USB-C cable to connect to the laptop in order to use the hub. Some comments mentioned the USB not working. One laptop usb port supplies charge marked by a lightning bolt, this is the port that enabled the usb hub to work for some reason I don’t understand as the cooler depends on external power but anyways it worked. The rgb lights work as expected. Now comes the important part. The fan is noticeably stronger than the basic model. My laptop went from 97 degrees on heavy use to around 80. And with light use it went down to 55 and the laptop fan itself was not needed so the laptop automatically switched off its own fans. Room temp was 25. It is v loud tho. But if ur using headphones u hardly notice. And when not using headphones I lower the speed. All in all this cooler is perfect. I have no negative remarks to report. Will update if I find any. If ur looking for a cooler that actually works. I recommend this one. There’s a reason I came back and purchased the more advanced more expensive model. It is pricey but I say worth the price since it does the job reliably. If ur looking for a cooler that has pretty lights there are many cheap ones out there. This one is a cooler. With pretty lights. In summary: it works.

9 degrees cooler running
I brought this product mainly because of the reviews and I thought I would test it myself. I own a HP Omen 16 RTX 3070ti with a ryzen 6800. Laptops no cooler. Results was 80 degrees on the CPU and 76 degrees on the GPU. This is under a stress test maxing out both CPU and GPU usage. With the laptop cooler installed. And fans on max. Apart from it being louder then the laptop fans the performance was definitely worth the buy for the cooler. The laptop was now running at steady 71 to 72 ° for the CPU and running at 66° for the GPU which was amazing. This also gained an extra eight FPS for my benchmark tests. The airtight seal around the bottom of the laptop was brilliant. Barely any air would escape the included dust filter was a brilliant idea as over the last 3 years I've had to clean my laptop out every 8 months due to dust. Hopefully this should help preventing me from having to do some risky and time consuming disassembling of the laptop. The size of it fitted quite well on the 16.1 inch laptop. It is an inch higher compared to other coolers but the fan and dust filter definitely makes up for it. And if anyone wants a quick conclusion, definitely makes the laptop run cooler allowing the GPU to run at higher MHz give you more FPS and more performance. The dust filter reduces the downtime on costly and risky repairs to clean the dust out. The air tight seal barely leaked any air. The downside it is noisy on Max fan, but if you wear headphones especially noise canceling, you'll have no problem. I'll definitely recommend this product I'll update this in a few months time

Must own for Alienware users
10/10 excellent product. I used to average around 60-70 fps when gaming (with an external monitor @ 240Hz) Now I am able to get the full 240 fps with this simple solution. Yes the fans may get loud but I'm sure for all the gaming laptop users it's normal so you wouldnt mind ;)

Very good!
I have had laptop cooling pads before, so I had reasonable expectations for this one. It does exactly what I want: it keeps my laptop multiple degrees cooler than if I didn’t have a cooling pad. I use it mainly when I am editing photos in Lightroom/Photoshop/Capture One, programs that heat up my laptop considerably. I am using a mid-2015 MacBook Pro so even though it doesn’t have bottom vents, the air movement created by the fan is more than enough to help it out. I don’t run it at full fan until the temperature necessitates it, and while at not full power it does a good job keeping my computer cool. I know that these are noisy; it is a fan after all, so that doesn’t bother me. The only complaint I have is the power cable isn’t as long as I want, but that’s hardly a fault of the manufacturer. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

One of the best investment I ever made in a cooling pad
The noise is not so bad as it had a turbine, I use a headset it don't bother me as my laptop is more noisy. Best part about it is that the efficiency of cooling your laptop it at it's best good idea with the fact that it seals the laptop around and it focuses the cooling and you don't lose any of it through the sides of the laptop as the old fasiin cooling pads was. Also big 👍 for the dust filter, helps a lot. This cooling pad is a must for every gaming laptop!!! I would highly recommended it to anyone.

Actually works
Great cooling pad, only one I’ve used which works. Cooled my laptop almost fully on half fan speed. Saw an actual increase to FPS by around 5 while playing high CPU-demand games like Halo

Efficiency
It dropped my temperatures while gaming from 83/85 degrees to 67/73 maximum, to use with headset of course cause it's very loud but it's better to have cooler PC

It works, for now
Gaming laptops are many things, but good at cooling themselves is definitely not one of them. So I looked at the best way to keep my pride and joy in good shape, and decided on the GT500 cooler for that, from reviews. Well, I'm both delighted (super easy to setup, very flexible when it comes to varied laptop shapes, and more importantly REALLY good at cooling) and a bit worried. You see, on the good side, it's dead easy to setup and use, and it does an incredible job at cooling the laptop, no matter what. Seriously, had used fan based coolers before but they were just an afterthought, that one is at the ''taking your computer and putting it into a fridge'' level of cool. BUT it comes at a price. Not only it's super loud at the higher levels of power, but mine seems to have a rattle in the fan. I know the build of the pad isn't great, as other reviewers have remarked, at least for that price point, but tha't not a biggie if it works. But when I turn it to 50pct and up, the noise becomes not just loud, but irregular, like there is something knocking around in the fan mechanism. So if it's just how it sounds, no biggie, but I'm worried I'll be left with something that dies in while (please, not just after the warranty expires...). So my advice, if you DO have a rather scorchy laptop and want to preserve it, do buy this cooler, it does the job, but be careful with it, and if you have the same knocking sound, don't get rid of the bill, you might have to claim on it.

this is the first time to comment on a product i bought in amazon , this is the best thing i bought for my laptop you have no idea how much it improved the performance of my laptop , my work depends on opening 70-80 Tabs in chrome that leads to make the laptop too hot and reduce its function after this product the difference is huge and very very happy it deserve every penny

Simply works
Brought the temperature down on my PC by upto 7-10 degrees (both on GPU and CPU). Perfect design which helps to lock in air pressure

Thumbs up 👍
One should buy this when comparing with high priced products like 'llano coolers'. Drops temp to a min of 10 deg. At full speed hardware monitor shows cpu\gpu temp around 20 deg when idling. Mine used to climb upto 90 while gaming but now maintains temp around 50. Overall quite satisfied.
