Great idea

Such a beautiful book with a lovely little story about the friends meeting the queen and Pooh reading her his hum. The illustrations are gorgeous and perfect for this Platinum Jubilee year edition of the book. Perfect in every way!

What better way to celebrate both one of the world's best loved bears and Queen Elizabeth II both of whom turned ninety last year than with this sweet little tale in which we get to travel to London with Winnie and friends, spotting some famous landmarks, to say nothing of her HRH Elizabeth and a certain young Prince who just so happens to be "more bouncy than Tigger", as we go.Inspired by A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard. I'm still not convinced that this book did justice to the original Pooh stories. My daughter loves the book

I bought 4 of these books after reading it to my Grandson in the library.It's a beautiful read, with amazing pictures. Something for my Grandsons, Great Neice and Nephews to keep and cherish.

This was great to read even as an adult. Meeting the Queen is something I would love to do some day but Winnie the Pooh sure had an adventure when he met the queen. Fun and easy to read. Keeps children's attention. I shared with some school children and they laughed a lot as I read it to them

Purchased as a gift and received with delight. Well-written creation, seamless incorporation of the 2 birthday characters - Pooh & Queen Elizabeth into the story. Liked the touch of Piglet passing his balloon to Elizabeth's grandchild.

Being an aging Anglophile, having given birth to an Anglophile, who, in turn has given birth to twin Anglophiles, and all of us also loving all things Pooh, our consensus is that this was a wonderfully done story. :)

I've always loved the British royal family and Winnie-the-Pooh! So happy to have this in hard copy. Seller did an excellent job packaging and sending product! Very pleased with this purchase!!
