Burke Pharmaceuticals Skrub Bar Exfoliating Soap

My dermatologist recommended I try this and I’m glad I did. My skin is so much softer and hopefully they will freeze less off next time.

So my hair was not agreeing with my head and started to fall out (40sM). Low and behold it was covering a huge "brown spot" on the back of my head. I panicked went to the Derm who said it's nothing, Seborrheic Keratosis, and then I came to Amazon to find a treatment.This Scrub bar is amazing. It took a spot that was raised, rough and half dollar sized (not that anyone knows how big a half dollar is now) and turned it into a small spot less than a dime in just a couple of months.I don't review much but If this can help one person then I'll feel good about it. Here is how I use it: 1. get head wet and wait for a couple of minutes; 2. Take the Skrub bar out its dry container (I keep it in the cardboard box); 3. wet the outside of the bar; 4. Polish off the brown spot. The bar just slowly sands off the spot with no pain.This bar is 100% worth the <$15. I would make the argument that they are undercharging for a product this effective and easy to use. And no, I have no affiliation with the company in any capacity, just love the product's results.

Seems to work good. Arrived earlier than expected

Was recommended by my dermatologist as a possible 'remedy' to a particular skin issue I have. I am on my second bar and at $10 a bar I was hoping for more noticeable result. It is suppose to reduce the dark marks and also reduce some 'bumps' that are a result of the darkening spots. I will use the second bar and most likely not buy another, unless some drastic changes happen with this second bar.

I love this soap. I approached it with a bit of skepticism. I have "old" skin and lots of keratoses on my face. I was tired of going to my dermatologist, being told they were keratoses, and then having him freeze them off. Lots of scabs, and they looked horrible. I thought I would try this soap.I'm using it twice a day, and it feels good, a little scratchy, I expected that, but I can see that the keratoses are getting way less flaky and my skin is looking better.I have very sensitive skin, and, for the most part, I cannot use many things on my face. So many products also affect my eyes. I am allergic, my eyes sting, and the lids swell up. So I shy away from so many products. I do not have any allergy problems with this soap.

I’ve used the soap with every shower, for about 3 months now. As you can see in my before and after pics, there is absolutely no difference in my SKs. This soap has not done anything for them at all. I’m not sure how it’s supposed to work but it feels like a course sandpaper, actually, it feels like the bar is filled with tiny shards of glass. It’s uncomfortable to use, though not unbearable if it worked, which it didn’t for me. I have raised dark, smooth light, large & small SKs all over my trunk, and this soap has done nothing for them. I hate to leave a one star review for anything, and the bar itself is fine, but it simply didn’t do what it claims.

I had countless age spots on my neck. They were small, raised and was darker than my skin. I never counted but I think I probably had between 50 to 80 of these unsightly spots on my neck. I'm in my 50's so I thought this is part of aging. It certainly made me feel old. I had given up on treating these spots until I came across this soap. I had been using this soap for about 2 months now. Most of the spots are gone now and for the ones that remain, it is far less visible. I had been using them on my face now and the seb-k that I had on my cheeks are now pretty flat and less visible. Some stubborn one remains but they are smaller. I would caution people to use this soap carefully on your face because it has little abrasive particles. It can scratch up your skin. When I use this soap on my face, I usually avoid this little particle. I will give this product 5 start because it worked for me.

Don't purchase this product for sun damaged skin unless you have realistic expectations. I'm 62 years of age and my skin is damaged from 30+ years of sun worshiping so I didn't expect overnight results. I started using the Skin Skrub Bar November 1, 2022 to minimize Actinic Keratosis spots on my chest and legs. As expected, I did not see results overnight or even in a week but after a month I started to see results. I have been using the product consistently for almost 10 weeks, the spots have not completely diminished but the results are amazing. I just ordered my third bar. My advice: Order the products, use it daily, and use a high end body oil after showering.
