Husband purchased but he is terrible about writing reviews. What he and his adult son told me, who also purchased this motor, is motor has lots of power and speed control was excellent. Install was easy, once he decided where he wanted to place it. Highly recommend

Only thing I’d recommend is a 15$ extension for your trolling motor arm so it’s not as far of a reach but otherwise 30lb trolling motor pushing the catch mode 110 kayak very swiftly in the water! Highly recommend

Does what it’s supposed to do
Mounted my trolling motor to my kayak. Had to do a lot of modifications to make it work. Went for the right kayak but ordered it knowing that

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Doesn’t fit. Says it’ll fit the catch 110. They give you the 2 pictures to figure out how to install it, but show you nothing. Customer service doesn’t exist. Email them, they’ll get back to you when they feel like it. I don’t know if I’m supposed to drill a bunch of holes in my kayak or what. Avoid.

Solid and easy to install
Having the motor installed directly behind the kayak operator was very awkward. A way to offset the trolling motor would be better. It eliminates somewhere for the keg when not using the motor on a trip.
