Beautiful camaro..
(×Edit×, after changing out the cheap batteries everything is ok) So buy with a 5 star rating Ok.... yes still cool, but after 15 minutes the rc will not go ahead or back up??, it turns left ,right but it has lost cotact with the (esc and the controller), it will not move??, I will be contacted seller about this, this week. Things to like, exactly as described in description. The dislike after 5 minutes the motor got really hot so shut it off for 20 minutes tried again still gets hot but didn't seem to bother the effects of it though? Going to be getting a cooling system for the motor.

Too expensive at $254 for a hobby grade?
Out of the box the Camaro is just beautiful. However, once you take the top off get ready to spend a lot more money. First I noticed that the shocks are just friction with some oil splashed on the silicone cup inside. The car droops poorly with hardly no ground clearance. So before I even got to drive the car, I was purchasing oil filled shock absorbers. Had to wait 2 days to get them but that’s better than tearing up the underside of the chassis. The body seemed brittle and thin as if one crash would shatter it. Other reviewers though state that it is pretty durable. The motor gets really hot after about 10 minutes. Over 180 degrees! I live in Las Vegas so more like 5 minutes. There are no additional instruction on the ESC as far as high temp protection, battery protection, or if it can be programmed. Oh and it’s a ESC/receiver combo (cheap). Don’t get me started in the child sized transmitter. Looks like another $40-70 bucks to replace it as well. The transmitter has no range at all compared to my other rc’s. Where I can normally go with all my other cars, this one just stops right in its tracks. No beeps or warning at all, just stops once it has lost signal, right in the middle of the street! So for me if I’d have paid $254 for this RC it would be headed back to Horizon for a refund. Reason being there are plenty of budget transmitters/receivers/ESC that are higher quality, dependable, and with great range. The shocks just really upset me that a company such as Losi or Horizon Hobby would equip this car with friction shocks! Maybe I’m expecting too much for $254?!?! I have RC cars for my grandson that cost $30 and they have better shocks than these. To be honest the Redcat ESP series RTR cars are $179 with a full size transmitter with good range, oil filled big bore shocks, and a separate receiver and ESC. So for me Losi dropped the ball on this Camaro. I got lucky a purchased it for $149.99 so that gives me the $114 to upgrade to what the car should have come with.
