I bought it thinking it could replace my hubby's plastic ...
I bought it thinking it could replace my hubby's plastic sandwich container, but unless you cut off the crust and smush is into the container - no sandwich is fitting in there, lol. But we still use for other food - loves stainless with no plastic:)

Looks nice, but the seal ring broke in a couple of weeks.
The orange plastic ring around the box broke. Barely used it for a couple of weeks.

A Fantastic Find! Please keep selling Mighty Hippo!
Love the Mighty Hippo containers! I've been using Starfrit Lock and Lock plastic containers for years for my son's lunches, but I really wanted to get away from plastic containers. There are other brands of stainless containers that we tried, but my son would have troubles opening the lids or we didn't like that we couldn't see what was in the container because of the solid, non-see through lids. So Mighty Hippo containers were a great fit for us - they are a good quality, durable stainless container, but the Mighty Hippo lid is like a Lock and Lock lid that is easy for my son to open/close and see the contents. The containers are lightweight and they look great too!
