Easy & Effective
This product has been great so far! It is extremely quiet. Honestly I don’t think it makes any noise. It is easy to take apart and wash. The night light has 2 settings and it’s a the perfect amount of soft warm light. The light kind of looks like a lava lamp when turned on and that makes it soothing and fun to look at. I have this in my living room and it has upped the humidity. I bought a brita pitcher and I use filtered tap water. This humidifier is effective and adjustable. It also doesn’t leave a film or any residue like other humidifiers. I am really impressed.

Excellent Humidifier – Quiet, Effective & Perfect for Better Breathing
I purchased this humidifier to help improve my elderly dog’s breathing, and it has made a noticeable difference. Since using it, his nighttime coughing has reduced significantly, and he’s now sleeping comfortably through the night. It’s been wonderful to see such a positive improvement. One of my favourite features is the built-in humidity gauge, which makes it easy to monitor and maintain the ideal humidity level in the room. The soft night light is also a lovely touch, providing just enough light without being disruptive. Best of all, this humidifier is virtually silent. It runs so quietly that it doesn’t disturb our sleep at all, making it ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, or anyone looking for a quiet humidifier.

Excellent Quality & Effectiveness
The “LEVOIT Classic300S Ultrasonic Smart Top Fill Humidifier worked very well for me. This’s is the first and only humidifier I’ve owned. It is exactly as pictured on Amazon, and functions well. It’s a quality product - performance and durability. I used it nearly 24/7 for two and half years. I opted for a large tank which turned out to be a good decision. The larger the tank, the less often it needs to be filled. Though I was overzealous in hoping it could humidify a very large open-concept living room and kitchen. It did pretty well considering I was trying to accommodate a larger area than it was meant to cover. I regularly used all three mist “output” options to adjust for how the weather impacted the amount of humidity I needed. The vent for the mist can rotate which I found very convenient. The light had just the right amount of illumination. The scent infuser is the only thing I didn’t use, due to allergies not the product. The water container is very easy to clean. Since I wasn’t used to having a humidifier I often forgot to clean the inside the base of the humidifier (where the water runs through the system). That led to a challenge. There were some tiny spaces that needed cleaning but couldn’t be reached by anything I tried - sponge, finger, mini scrub brush, toothbrush, tiny bottle brush. I think it was just the structural design that impacted the reachability of those area. (That might be true for most humidifiers. I don’t know since this was my first one.) Eventually those tiny areas inside the base developed a nasty build up. Ultimately I had to throw it out because it wasn’t healthy to continue using it. That was the only down side of this product. Because I wasn’t diligent in cleaning it sooner and more frequently, perhaps the cleaning issue could have been avoided. If I knew a way to reach those spaces, it would be the perfect humidifier and i would definitely buy it again. Overall it’s an excellent humidifier and very effective in its purpose. Based on this singular experience, I consider Levoit a quality brand, tried and true, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy their products.

This works and is very quiet
The easiest set up ever. This humidifier is so easy to use and the fill tank fits under the faucet. The control panel is very user friendly, water flows into the air immediately when you turn it on. And it is so quiet! I did pair it with the app for timer and light control and it couldn’t be simpler. If you don’t want to use the app you can change the light and timer settings right on the control panel. It is efficient adding humidity into my very dry Arizona air. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it!

Very pleased!
A very good and powerful humidifier for its size. The little guy is still tricking along at probably close to 6 months in. It runs pretty much 24/7, unless the temps are above freezing and there’s a melt-off occurring outside. But so long as the days are dry? Regardless of temps? It runs. Noise levels are manageable. It’s very silent, but louder for some reason with the heat on I feel. You won’t notice it much unless reading in a silent room. It sounds like a tea kettle when it’s in the very early stages of hissing but with tinier and more rapid bubble sounds. Very quiet with heat turned off. Make sure to set this thing up high, on a small table if using the highest mist level, or extended time in use. If it’s on the floor with not but a mat under it? To keep the carpet fibers and dust out? The humidity collects on the floor and the carpet will start to stink. That said? The fan could stand to be more powerful, to shoot the mist up higher but then there’s risk of loudness, so that is why it is this way. No problem, just put it on an end table. The second problem the falling mist presents is that the humidifier instantly thinks that it’s reached humidity levels: The room could be 28% humidity when you first turn it on and instantly it’s seeing a raise to 34%. Only thing you can do is set the humidity 5-10% higher. On aggressively cold dry days like the example I listed above, using a mist level setting of 2 is ideal. The setting of 3 falls too heavy like a mist waterfall and doesn’t disperse into the atmosphere much. If using a setting of 3, make sure you have it up at least 2 feet off the ground. I personally set kind to 50% humidity so that 5% can serve as a buffer a bit since the moisture seems to fall run onto the sensor fairly fast, causing it to think it’s about 5-8% higher than it is. This is why I wish I could offset by less than 5% steps. I’d probably use a setting of about 53%.

Worth the price.
Update April 2021: Cleaned the tank yesterday, and today after I refilled it I noticed there were some cracks in the clear part of the tank and when I went to put it back on the base, it was leaking where the clear part meets the black tank bottom. Called customer service and they took my information and started a help-email (so just email them from the start). They asked for some pictures of the problem, a screenshot of my purchase invoice, and for my shipping address. After I sent that in, they replied saying they’re sending me a new unit! Start to finish it took about 4 hours to get a resolution. Original Review: My first humidifier was an ultrasonic penguin shaped model marketed for kids, no bells or whistles at all. It finally died after 10 years and this was the replacement. This one is sleek, modern, and the styling fits our adult home much better. It also is a lot quieter! Pros: • Stylish - visually disappears into room. • Quickly increases/maintains RH% in our 1,100sqft home. • Large reservoir! • Very quiet - warm mist feature is louder but still fine. • Target RH% option is fantastic. • Display can be turned off while running. • Remembers the last setting when turned off and on again. • Six different levels of mist output (1-3 cool + 1-3 warm). Cons: • Removable nozzle piece is a little annoying to remove - if you don’t have finger nails you may struggle. • Mist output doesn’t have a lot of oomph behind it so it doesn’t go far on its own - we have ours under a ceiling fan to help disperse the vapor. Eh 🤷🏻♀️: • Remote - no use for us. • Power cord could be a little longer. • Dual direction nozzles don’t improve function, mostly for looks/fun. • Auto feature is ok - sometimes doesn’t turn back on when % drops below listed threshold. • Essential oil drawer - tried it once, it was underwhelming. Notes: We use the warm mist function as a booster when we want to increase the humidity quickly. It really helps during Santa Anna conditions when outdoor RH is <10%. Cool mist output = 250ml/hr max Cool + Warm = 500ml/hr max We have VERY VERY hard water. If we use tap water in a humidifier the air gets visibly foggy/hazy from the suspended minerals in the air, so we use our reverse osmosis system to fill the tank.

WILL HURT YOUR HEALTH NOT HELP IT!!!
I waited to write this review until I had gotten usage & a good cleaning out of it so I could give a very honest review. Needless to say I was left appalled & horrified! After 1 night of usage the humidifier mist output started to smell badly and the mist output was fluctuating from barely there to an abundance of mist! I immediately checked out the humidifier the following morning & the filter was a dirty black color! I used distilled water so there wouldn't be any hard minerals or materials from our faucet/pipes. With that being stated I knew the filter becoming that dirty with 1 night of use was not due to bad or contaminated water. I took the extra filter that was included with the humidifier & put it promptly in & figured the dirt was probably due to parts breaking in. Not so. Used the humidifier that night & woke up with the same mist output issue & dirty filter! The mist output flucutuated so poorly that night we woke up to our floor SOAKED with water! I immediately had to clean our carpet to prevent molding (we even had the humidifier sitting off of our floor!) & after the cleaning rushed to work! Upon getting home that evening I started a clean of the humidifier in hopes that would help. IT ABSOLUTELY DID NOT!! In fact I was HORRIFIED as to what I saw once I started the cleaning process! The water in the tank part was clear as if I had just poured it out of the bottle BUT the water in the base was PINK & so was th floater! Please keep in mind this was only after the 2nd night of usage & I used distilled water!!! I cleaned the humidifier according to the instructions & that's when I realized you CAN'T TRULY clean this humidifier!! Inside of the tank is the mist output tube which has part of the silencer base permanently attached to it therefore making it IMPOSSIBLE to clean! I tried using the brush included & to say that brush is useless is an understatement!!! I proceeded to use the EVERY type of long cleaning tool I owned to try to get this part cleaned & ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKED!!! After 2 long hours I finally gave up realizing this humidifier is EXTREMELY DETRIMENTAL to mine & my family's health so I threw it away after taking photos so I could post them with this review!! Using this humidifier will NOT HELP your family's health BUT HURT your family's health! I can not begin to imagine what this humidifier would have looked like if I had decided to use tap water instead if using the distilled water!! DO NOT BUT THIS HUMIDIFIER!!!!!!!!

Great product but FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND CLEAN BEFORE USEi
I'd been a long-time user of an earlier LEVOIT (the Classic 200S) that gave up the ghost after about half a decade of vigorous use in dry winters. The 300S is an improvement in almost every way. While it uses the same app, which is not bad for this kind of product, the big improvement is the humidity sensor. The 200S would read about 20% higher humidity than my thermostat or other air sensors, meaning I had to set the "target" humidity to 60% in order to get a reasonable result. Expecting the same, I came back to my bedroom to find a sauna: having been set at 60%, the 300S was doing its best to hit that target. A humidity sensor that works is a game-changer. There are a few quality-of-life improvements over the 200S that are notable. As a top-fill humidifier, it's far easier to get water into the tank. On the other hand, the "handles" are designed so that the tank must be carried with two hands, which is less convenient than the 200S. The larger capacity means it needs to be filled less often, however. My one bit of warning: when the instructions say "clean before use," FOLLOW THEM. As I said, my 200S had failed so I was eager to get the 300S working, and I didn't clean the tank first. My room got covered in a sticky white film (like the "white dust" mineral deposit common to some ultrasonic humidifiers, but much thicker and gluier) and I was worried that the 300S would be a bust. (It's not just the water: I have a second 200S that I fill from the same tap, and it wasn't pollinating the downstairs!) But I cleaned the tank and base thoroughly and tried again, and it seems to have been a one-time problem. I'd mark it down a star for that, but the directions *were* very clear on the need to wash the product before using it.

Works great. Silently
Did quite a research before ordering this humidifier as part of preparation for our baby to come and am happy with result. Baby isn’t here yet, but my husband asked to order another one for living room already 😁 In our case of dry air full tank of water lasts 1,5-2 days. It’s silent. Night mode is great as there is no light from machine. Automatic switch on/off based on humidity level is great. And I love how it works with the app - I do everything thru it and get messages when to clean, refill etc. App is simple & intuitive. Started to add lavender aroma oil for the night - feels like we sleep better.
