I used this adhesive after deliding a CPU. I was able to easily cut/form the supplied nozzle to the right hole size. The glueing application went smoothly. I doubt that I will be able to use the tube and nozzle.

This product worked great on my plastic valve cover fix. I used hard setting epoxy first but over couple months it cracked with valve cover for BMW. This stuff stays adhered and flexible. This is the only product anyone should ever use for BMW valve covers

While a 572 degree F sealant is not needed for most parts of an internal combustion engine, this sealant does give you a peace of mind around the heads or exhaust. It has better bulk than Permatex, so will fill larger gaps. I would not use this product as gasket prep, as it is too thick, and does not skim well.

Fearing I would have to go to the expense of having my electric oven door front replaced after one side of it became detached, I carefully removed the screws to find that it was just the rubber "seal" that had perished. I ordered a tube of this Black High Temperature Silicone Adhesive Sealant through Amazon which arrived within a couple of days. I must admit, I was a little sceptical, but after removing the old sealant and replacing it with the new, I was very pleased with the results! I use my oven on an almost daily basis and am pleased to report that I have had no further problems. I feel quite confident that if and when the seal on the other side of the door perishes in the same way, I'll be able to fix that side too! (Not bad for a woman who usually has to ask her husband to "fix" things - and whose husband was "well impressed" by my workmanship!) Brilliant results from a product that "does what it says on the tube" which, if I'd have called out an "expert" to fix, would have probably cost me an arm and a leg but cost me just a few pounds, and there's still loads left in the tube for any future "sealing" jobs that need to be done.

Besides its ridiculous adhesion once fully dried, its also easily worked and formed while wet, has a smooth, untacky surface when cured, and while it smells like death while curing, there is no additional offgas after a day or when heated. I dont know how they make something this good this cheap, but I'll certainly be back once this humongus tube runs out.

Al horno de casa se le despegaron las 2 plaquetas metálicas cuadradas que van unidas al cristal mediante silicona. Tras mucho mirar me decidí por este producto, y la verdad es que no me ha decepcionado. Hay que tener en cuenta varios aspectos durante el proceso de pegado: -Que las partes a unir estén realmente alineadas en su totalidad al aplicar el producto (parece una perogrullada, pero si por ejemplo la plaqueta está un poco levantada respecto al cristal no se unirán bien ambas partes). Yo mismo cometí un error en este sentido y no se me quedó bien pegado, con lo cual tuve que reiniciar el proceso. Cuesta ver bien (por lo menos en mi horno) cuándo están en el mismo plano ambas partes, pero merece la pena escudriñar bien y asegurar este aspecto. -No aplicar una capa fina tal como indican las instrucciones (esto será válido para otro tipo de trabajo, pero no para el que nos ocupa). Yo me serví directamente del orificio del tubo y no utilicé el dosificador suministrado. De esa manera me fue posible aplicar una capa generosa en las dos partes a pegar. -Como es lógico, limpiar bien tanto plaqueta como cristal antes de pegar. Si se siguen estos consejos no debería haber problema en el pegado. Recordad que el producto aguanta hasta 300º. Si os soy sincero, no hemos utilizado todavía el horno, pero pensamos que aguantará bien la temperatura. De momento, pegado está bien pegado. Suerte.

Non è un prodotto “da usare tutti i giorni”, ma più una di quelle cose che tieni in casa per le emergenze o le riparazioni. Prima impressione La confezione è piccola e semplice, il tubetto da 70 ml è comodo da tenere e non occupa spazio. Quando lo apri, la consistenza è quella tipica del silicone nero: denso e un po’ appiccicoso, niente di sorprendente. Uso nella vita quotidiana L’ho applicato su una guarnizione che non teneva più bene. L’applicazione non è complicata, ma bisogna avere mano ferma perché il materiale è abbastanza “colloso” e si attacca subito. Nei primi minuti è facile da modellare, poi inizia a fare presa e non puoi più lavorarlo troppo. Dopo l’asciugatura, la tenuta sembra buona e non ho notato più perdite nella zona trattata. Cosa funziona bene La cosa migliore è sicuramente la resistenza al calore: dà una certa sicurezza usarlo vicino a parti che si scaldano, e per ora non ha ceduto. Anche l’adesione su superfici diverse sembra solida, una volta indurito resta ben fermo. È utile proprio per piccoli lavori di riparazione domestica dove serve qualcosa di resistente e duraturo. Cosa convince meno Non è molto “facile” da usare se non si ha un minimo di pratica: tende a sporcare e non perdona errori. Inoltre il tempo di asciugatura non è immediato, quindi bisogna aspettare senza toccarlo. Il formato da 70 ml, poi, è comodo ma si consuma abbastanza in fretta se si fanno più interventi. Conclusione È un prodotto utile da tenere in casa per riparazioni mirate e zone ad alta temperatura. Non è un sigillante da usare alla leggera, ma se applicato con calma fa il suo lavoro in modo affidabile e duraturo.
