My impulse sealer came with a thin white teflon based sealing surface, which continuously stuck to the material I was sealing. As a result, many of my bags would rip as I pulled them away from the sealing surface.I was unsure if this tape would be a suitable replacement, but making this purchase has completely changed my sealer experience. Nothing sticks to this thing! Further, its much thicker than the flimsy teflon strip that was originally on the unit - end result is perfect seals and absolutely no sticking.

This worked perfectly to repair my impulse sealer. The width was perfect - I just cut it to the length I needed and installed it. It works very well and I have lots of extra to replace the tape when it gets worn out. Great purchase - I would buy again. Quick shipping!

It works very good, but it gives a solid seal which in my case it doesn't look as good as the original material

I actually like the fact that it is non-stick. Easy to install. You get a lot for the money. The length is really long. Good for me. I run through easily but because this is really long, I won’t have to reorder often.

Love it!!! We had purchased the Metronic 16inch/400mm Manual Impulse Manual Hand Sealer Heat Sealing Machine Poly Tubing Plastic Bag with 2 Replacement Kit Blue, and while the sealer worked well in general, the tape was horrible, and both the original and the extra replacement were soon ruined. I came across this non-stick PTFE replacement tape, saw some good reviews, and ordered it. We have received it, installed a strip, and it runs circles around the original equipment. We love it, and we have mentioned this product in a review for the Impulse Heat Sealer so that others who have problems with the disintegrating tape can have the problem solved by ordering THIS product.

I would have to say that this non-stick strip probably works better than the original strips that came with the sealer itself. The bags don't seem to stick to it as much as the original strips. The only thing that I would change is the width. It would be easier to work with / replace it if was a tad bit wider. That is the only reason it is missing a star in the rating. (because there isn't a way to take away a half of a star).
