Nathan Hyper-Brite Strobe Reflective Gear

I have been using this for several months now and I love it! I have this light attached to my running vest and the clip works perfectly to keep it on. I use it for about 12 hours a week since getting it - using the second to the last setting with the single rotating lights and I will finally have to change the battery. As an early morning and late evening runner, I really like this light and I like the multiple light settings for visibility. It's so light that I forget that it's there until I blind myself putting my running vest away.

The switch that turns the light on and off is very temperamental. Sometimes it turns it on but not off and other times it won't turn on at all. Returned one for replacement that wouldn't work at all. Changing the battery is a major undertaking - the cover is not user friendly and needs a lot of jiggling. The unit is not very sturdy such that I doubt how many times the battery can be changed before the unit falls apart. Poor quality and badly designed. Definitely designed to be disposable.

My husband had one and I wanted one like him. I was gonna get the purple one but I read comments that the lights were red for the purple one. So I went with this one. I really like it!!

I got this light for when I go running at night. It's very bright as advertised and does exactly what it should. I love the different mode settings and the replaceable batteries is great. As a safety device for anyone who runs at night I highly recommend this product. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that after replacing the batteries the light sometimes has issues turning on. I don't know if it's the switch or the batteries. When you hold the power button it flashes but doesn't turn on. You need to try multiple times to get it to turn on and stay on.

As an avid Sundown runner I use a blinker to make sure I'm visible. I previously used the Nathan Strobe light. Looking at the description they said that HyperBrite was giving more Lumens so I purchased it as the price difference was negligible. However on usage the HyperBrite did not give an even light and was brighter as it has convex plastic lenses over all its bulbs thereby focusing the light a little more but also causing areas of shadow. I find this may be a little glaring for on coming runners (not sure for cars) but for me it doesn't illuminate my path when I jog on dark areas (where I need to avoid a root or an occasional puddle). I prefer the Nathan Strobe light which does its job though the illumination is minimal. Now I have purchased the new Orion Strobe (will r/w later) but have yet to use it.

Was nice and bright but battery drains while it's off making it not very reliable. I had kept it as an emergency light in my backpack and I'd only used it when I first got it to figure out how it worked and to make sure it did work. When I wanted to use it on my commute home and it didn't turn on which was quite frustrating.

This product lives up to its name! They are SUPER BRIGHT!! I use these to clip on my dog's collar when we walk at night and have had people tell me they were trying to figure out what the glowing green lights were from over a block away.

I purchased this item for running & it works great. Very bright light for the size. Also tried it on the baby stroller in the crowded San Francisco streets during an evening walk & it definitely caught people's eyes. They politely moved when they saw the stroller approaching.
