Security cameras best friend
Let's face it even the best security cameras....... Ring.....Wyze....... Nest. They all have pretty small IR lights with limited range. This thing will flood your backyard with IR light. It's a real assist to any camera

Wow, what a difference!
My wife's tree is got too tall and was causing a "backsplash" of light from my IR camera making it all but useless at night. (Pic 1) I installed this light about 75' away at the end of my house. It's actually attached to the downspout, on the side of the house, just out of sight of the camera so as not to create another IR hotspot. Then I turned IR off on the actual camera. WOW, what a difference. Lights up my front yard 10x better than my other cameras using just their built in IR. It's a keeper!

Great for PSVR2!
Got this to use with my PSVR2 instead of opening blinds or turning a light on, both which generate heat. Lights up my living room great, PSVR2 tracking in excellent. Comes with screws and drywall anchors to mount to the wall, which I will do later. I've used it at 3-4 hour periods of time, the unit and wall plug get warm but not hot.I took one star off because it uses more electricity than advertised. I plugged it into a watt-o-meter, and it's using 7.8 watts, instead of the advertised 6 watts.

Great Light
I use this light in the basement to illuminate the basement door for my security cam. It is three floors below our monitoring station. It works great. Longevity is yet to be determined.

Soutly built, very poor illumination.
I bought this because of the Amazon reviews....which, clearly, are no longer reliable. This unit puts out VERY LITTLE infrared light. This so-called "flood light" puts out significantly less IR illumination than my cameras do--even just ONE of my cameras illuminates 5-10 times more than this thing. I wanted an IR flood--this ain't it.Returned for refund, which Amazon graciously processed.
