Hoya YYU4177 UV filter HD Nano MkII, Black, ø77 mm

Looks good and got for purpose. It is hard to know more about the filter after having it in the lens for one month. Packaging for a premium product isn't matching the quality of the filter.

Superior quality product, great glass, works perfectly and doesn’t break the bank, its sleek design is easy to handle and fit well in the threads. This filter is worth your money!

quality as expected

Hoya make very good filter systems and I hoped that this would be even better than what I already had. At £145 I expected a great deal but found on arrival that the box had been opened and there were marks on the lens. In other words, second hand or previously sent out. I do not believe that having paid such a premium price for a filter such as this that I should receive a second hand unit that has not been quality control checked prior to dispatch and if charging full price do not send out second hand units - I did not bother to fit to my camera Hope that this helps prospective purchasers

This is my first hoya filter. When I bought this the first time the gold seal was already open. Had to get a replacement which amazon sent with next day shipping. This also had the seal broken. This seems to be a problem with this product. Some other reviewers are complaining of a similar issue. I am wondering if it is a storage issue? Quite odd since amazon confirms it is a new product. But with a broken seal it is hard to say if the product has been tampered with or not. I kept the replacement product (with a partial refund from Amazon) as I needed to use it ASAP. The lens works well, the CPL turns quite well and has a good polarising effect. Good build material and feels sturdy to handle and use. Thin profile with good clarity. Fits with a lens cap.

Excellent product, used on my Leica Q3 for better sky and landscape station colours, superb optics complements the Leica.

Amazon korzysta z niewiarygodnego przewoźnika, jakim jest "Poczta Polska". Przewoźnik ten każe sobie jeździć po Wrocławiu, aby wyręczyć ich kurierów. Nie wiem, w jakim stanie był produkt, ale po sposobie realizacji usługi nie spodziewałbym się niczego dobrego.

Tenía un B+W que traes caerse de un 4 piso, no se rompió, pero quedó inutilizable al doblarse el anillo. Le di vueltas si comprar el mismo filtro, pero probé con este más barato, reconozco que con cierto miedo, pero tras usarlo he de decir que estoy encantado con su calidad y que lo volvería comprar tranquilamente. Además me llegó rapidísimo (Canarias) y sin ningún problema.

Filtre polarisant de très haute qualité : les reflets sont réduits, les couleurs plus profondes et le ciel ressort parfaitement. Aucun impact sur la netteté, et la monture fine ne provoque pas de vignettage sur mon Nikon 24-120mm. La finition Nano est top : facile à nettoyer et très résistante. Parfait pour photo de paysage et eau.
