Frizzlife FK99 Under Sink Water Filter System, NSF/ANSI 53&42 Certified, Remove 99.99% Chlorine, Lead, Bad Taste&Odor, Direct Connect, 0.5 Micron, Under Counter Drinking Water Filter

I purchased this because it filters out certain chemicals in my town's water system. I can't say if this product filters well, as I have not tested the water. But it really is easy to install. I'm not experienced with this kind of project, so I was a little scared. I watched a 2-minute video as instructed, then read the short and easy directions. It was honestly simple and easy. I checked, and there were no leaks at all after running the water for 15 minutes straight. If ease of installation is important to you, then this filter is highly recommended.

Received Today and installed Today. Quality built product Comes with everything you need for install. Definite better taste in water. Don't need any power to use it, just water pressure.

Install Dislikes: 1. No phone # to call for tech support, just an email address. 2. (2) plastic cartridge removal wrenches supplied, prior to mounting the bracket, I thought I'd try removing the inner cartridge. Had a heck of a time removing the cartridge from the exterior white shell but ultimately I was able to remove it using the plastic wrenches, which started to strip. (Note on the plastic wrench indicates free replacement wrenches are available. 3. Water plastic Outlet identification tag popped off when product was removed from the box. Not a big deal as I re-glued the plastic tag back onto the holding bracket. Install PROS: 1. Easy to read instructions. 2. They even shipped Teflon tape to wrap around the brass fittings. 3. Garbage disposal had to be removed in order to have a clear view of mounting the the cartridge holding bracket. 4. 3/8" Brass threaded Inlet/Outlet connections. 5. Flexible Inlet braided hose supplied with 3/8" connection that fit perfectly onto my cold water shut-off valve. 6. No leaks detected upon final check. 7. After running the Cold water for about 2 minures, the Cold water side that is protected by this filter appears to show really clean water with no particles floating in the glass. Sumnary: After spending many online hours researching water purifiers that mount under a sink, this is a very solid product that easily installs and as the owner of a successful Handyman business, I will be sure to promote the Fizzlife FK99 product to many of my current and future clients.

The water filter on this works very good. The water taste good and maintains decent water pressure. I replace it about every three months with a new water , so the longevity is pretty good. It fits perfectly under my sink and the design is very good. The first filter I got did leak, but customer service was extremely helpful and quick and prompt to fixing the issue. I would suggest using nice braided lines from a local supply shop not the ones provided. I really liked that. This unit used threaded filter assembly compared to other brands. I worry about things leaking and this alleviate that. Thank you Frizzlife. It would have been a five star review. Had the filter not leaked upon arrival. After that, it has been flawless. The cheap braided lines are to be expected. I can’t complain about that.

Easy to install, keeps water clean for a long time, doesn't slow the flow too much, though the reduced flow is noticeable. Keeps my coffee and tea tasty. I just changed the filter for the first time, and it immediately started leaking. I had to disassemble the cartridge to clean and grease all of the o-rings to seal it. That's not in the instructions, and the filter change kit does not include the plumber's silicone grease. I still think it's worth it, but this should have been in the instructions, or noted in the replacement filter kit somewhere. Edit 10Aug2025: I emailed Frizzlife support to see if the leak I encountered was a common problem and then sent me a replacement cartridge to be sure the o-rings were properly sealed. Great customer service!

I have previously installed and love our Frizz-life powered reverse osmosis filter. I installed that a year ago under our kitchen sink and we have loved the quality of that water so much! Problem was drinking water out of our bathroom sink we had the bad taste of our local water, no more! Now with this filter under the bathroom sink our water tastes great in there as well. At .5 micron filtration I'm sure we are cleaning it up as well. Note, the reverse osmosis removes most dissolved solids, This filter does NOT remove most dissolved solids. But that is okay with me in this case. Adapters and everything I needed was included. Only need a wrench or two, a drill and screw driver if you are going to mount it. I didn't need to mount mine, it sits securely in the back corner. Highly recommend. My dad is going to get one for his house now as well.

Well manufactured but a critical design flaw. Worked without leaks for a year and water tasted good. After the first filter was replaced, it leaked around the upper black to white rim transition. Tried tightening more. Didn't help. Tried silicone. Didn't help. There are 2 small. Orings and 1 very large Oring. Figured out the source by simply tipping the unit sideways with water inside. The leak was clearly from the largest canister Oring. Water under no pressure dripped out easily. The fix: Wrapped the canister threads and one wrap over the huge Oring. Gently tightened. This is a temporary and leak risky fix. Do not buy the FK99 until it is redesigned. Always put a container under with leak alarm. You'll need it with the FK99. Redesign suggestions: The large Oring appeared well intact and still leaked. Possibly increase Oring diameter. Problem may be the casing becomes non round with time/pressure. Possibly add double or triple orings. Include giant Oring spares.

Decided to buy filter for kitchen sink. Bought this filter because of the brass fittings, not trusting plastic fittings. Very pleased with the filter. It was extremely easy to install. Filter came with all the fittings needed for installation, however my pipes are 1/2" and fittings on filter are 3/8". Instead of using the adapters furnished I went to local hardware store, spent $6 and purchased a hose with 3/8" on one end and 1/2" on the other end. Stick on template made installing mounting screws simple. Now the important part! I have always thought my water tasted good compared to surrounding areas but after installing the filter the difference is noticeable. The water now has a smoother taste than before. I equate this taste to bottled water at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend this filter. add on 10/26/23 My visiting adult daughter said yesterday " I always thought the water here tasted great but the water from the kitchen faucet is a lot better than from bathroom faucet". update 11/17/24 Still very pleased with filter. No troubles. Water still tasting great!

Alle flexrohr Anschlüsse haben perfekt gepasst Qualität des Gehäuses des Zubehörs ist gut , alles ist auch dicht. Für alle die ne nummer sicherer gehen wollen ist das ein super Einsteiger Filter er Filters vieles Chlor Geschmack ect liest die Beschreibung richtig ! Aber Kalk nicht das ist für mich persönlich nicht tragisch bisschen minerialen soll er ja noch haben ;) ach und auch wenn ihr den Filter 6-12 Monate nutzen könnt bzw 25k Liter Wasser durchfließen lassen könnt macht es aus hygienischen Gründen nicht ! Verkleidungsgefahr! Nach 6 Monaten spätestens wechseln ihr könnt mit einem wasser löslichen Stift auf die Aussenhaut des Filter Behälters da Datum schreiben wann ihr es in Betrieb genommen habt so wisst ihr wann ihr ihn spätestens wechseln müsst , ach ja Dichtband nicht vergessen zu benutzen und nicht all zu fest drehen die FLEX Rohr Anschlüsse am Gehäuse diese sind nicht aus Metall sondern Kunststoff ähnlich nicht das diese brechen , ansonsten cooles Teil echt

After looking at reviews of many products out there, this filter fitted the bill for what we wanted. This was brought together with their faucet as I did not want to buys 3 way tap. All items came well wrapped and as described. However, it did not come with any tubing to connect to the faucet and you will require to buy another fitting to connect to filter flexi pipe outlet to the tube to faucet. These were quite easy to find on Amazon. That aside the unit it robust and well made has all gone together very well with no problems once you have the parts. One thing to consider is the outer sleeve is rather slippery and I found it very hard to turn to get it off. So when you then came to take out the filter this was also very tight, I could not grip it hard enough with my hands to undo it. In the video the guy makes it all look so easy. The filter itself comes with a spanner so you can remove it but you would need to buy the large spanner that is sold separately. Shame this is not in the kit with filter. Alternately shown in the photo is the type of thing you can use wrapped around a round object not the filter. That all said, don't let it put you off as the filter works very well indeed, we certainly have no complaints there. To buy a well known filter jug and filters that cost a lot now days and filters replaced every 5 weeks it adds up. This requires one in twelve months at a cost of approx £23. Another good thing with this filter too, is the flow rate. Its the best I have seen as for us its almost like the cold tap flow. Others in the 3 in 1 taps seems to take for ever. The taste is so much better and just looks so clear as if it has been brought in a bottle. It is a great buy.

Love this so much. Use it in the kitchen so that our cleaning and drinking water is clean of impurities. So far haven’t had any problems. Just can’t use it on the hot water as they are separate hoses but I have a kitchen tap filter for that
