Busy Betty

Gave this as a birthday gift to a little girl that loves to read and loves books and this story is just a great thing to show to kids

This is my two year old's favorite book. We have read it so often that she has memorized 90% of the book and will randomly quote it (like "That's amaaazing!!!") in daily life. It is an easy book to make fun to read with the fonts and cute sayings.

This short children’s book from Reese Witherspoon follows the excited and super active character of Busy Betty. Betty is always busy doing something, and the very expressive faces in the artwork really capture her emotions. The art style reminds me of some Disney movie characters, as artist Xindi Yan really shines creating visual images that resonate with kids. There is a happy ending here too, as Betty learns to channel her creativity and energy into something productive.Our little ones enjoyed reading this book together, and at least one of them felt like they identified with Betty’s high-energy life. There is a picture at the very end of the book of Witherspoon as a little girl, and you can see how the Betty character looks exactly like an animated version of her.

As a mama with a “busy Betty” this book was perfect. My daughter loved it

I loved reading this to my granddaughter. She is 6. I loved explaining to her who Reese is, and how she wrote the Book. And who the illustrator is and how she drew the pictures. And I loved explaining to her how this Book is about Reese and how successful she is and how she can do the same if she wants to. Anything is possible!

A fantastic picture book for young girls encouraging entrepreneurial activities for spirited children. Based on the real life experiences of Reese Witherspoon as a child.I bought two for friends young daughters.

Busy Betty is one of the most beautiful children's books ever. The story is written sugar-sweet. The illustrations are wonderful. My daughter wants many more stories.
