Q: Hasd anyone had problems with exterior heat for this unit? Mine got hot after 30 minutes of cooking rice

I haven't had that problem, but had returned this same unit twice when it stopped working. I would give it zero stars if possible. Please note, I would not put rice in the microwave for 30 minutes, as it only takes 20 minutes on the stovetop.

Q: Outside hot with use, is this OK???

I do not use the microwave oven to cook. I only use to heat up food or my oatmeal in the morning. I can't say if this microwave heats up outside if used for five to ten minutes to cook.

Q: Does it have any rust issues?

We do not have any rusting going on.

Q: Is the height accurate and can the legs be removed?

Mine measures 11 1/2 high with the legs. The small little rubber legs only measure 1/2 high and most likely could be removed.
