Simple Designs LT2024-PRP Brushed Steel Stick Table Desk Lamp with Charging Outlet and Drum Fabric Shade, Purple

I wanted accessories for a room I call my, "Purple Room." I did not want bulky, over dazzled, big lamps for guests who come and spend a night or two. I also ordered safe spacing nightstands that are not tall but tall enough to meet the needs of the guests. The comforter set and bed pillows are the focal point of the room and the television area. The room is big and my treadmill resides in there along with the tv entertainment setup and a narrow bookshelf that house some of my most important and cherished books. There is long window seating and two large curtained windows so I think my guest will enjoy sitting, enjoy music, watching tv, and roaming through my books back there.

The first time I bought this lamp, I was trying to change the ambiance in my classroom -- it was inexpensive, didn't take up much space, so I bought it. It was perfect. So when I needed another lamp, as I set up an new office space, it was my go to purchase. That was when I discovered all the available colors (the first time, I was just looking for a lowkey lamp so I picked tan). The purple is so great. I am already considering getting another one for my bedroom. Oh, there has been approximately 6 months between purchases. I haven't has any trouble with the first lamp at all. Very happy.

I ordered two of these, in different colors, for my children's rooms and they do not disappoint. For the price they are exactly what we were looking for in quality and ease of use. These are the only light in my children's rooms and it lights them up nice and bright. We do not use the extra plug feature, however, it is neat that it come with an extra power source built in...it is a standard plug.This lamp has a small weight to it so it's not easy to knock over or move. Couldn't have asked for more for the price!

This is the second one of these we have purchased and plan on buying more as we need them. Can't beat the price for such a nice lamp. The base is very hefty, the lamp in general is heavier than one would expect. The chrome is perfect, not too shiny and has a very sleek and modern look. The shade is also well made and because of the shape and quality is also sturdy, not as flimsy as other shades we have had. We have used the first one, a red shade, in a child's bedroom, and have had that one for 2 years with no issues. The recent one purchased is of the eggplant color and is being used in the master bedroom. Keep in mind when choosing colors. that as in any lamp shade, the color of the shade is slightly different when the lamp is turned on.

I bought 2 of these lamps for my bedroom nightstands, and I love them! They look just as pictured and are everything I hoped for. I thought 20 bucks was a bit costly for such a small and simple lamp, but I'm happy with my purchase regardless :)

It works fine and looks good. The only problem I have with it is the pull chain that you have to tug to turn it on or off. I suppose I didn't notice this when I purchased it. The reason I don't like it is because I have a young male cat who likes to attack anything that moves. A nice, dangly, shiny silver ball on a chain is especially enticing. I also don't like that aspect because it has to sit in the middle of the nightstand, which means I have to reach further to turn it off, whereas with my old one, the switch was about 12 inches down the cord which would hang at the edge of the nightstand within reach and was comfortable.

I bought 2 in the purple color way for my night tables. These things are awesome! They're pretty heavy duty and the metal base is sturdy af. I have a means of plugging in my adapter and I don't have to learn plank pose just to stay plugged in!Plugging in my wall adapter to the lamp now allows me to charge my phone and my 3D printed moon night light at the same time; giving me enough cord to lie comfortably in bed surfing the interwebs... like the human potato I truly am meant to be.

Started out with two in our master bedroom, then each of our three kids got one. We all love these lamps. Great price, many fun color options! And being able to charge a phone is a huge plus! Only back thing is that I sometimes hear a quite, buzzing sound. I do have a smart bulb in mine, so it may be the bulb - or it may be the lamp. I'm the only one of the 5 lamps in our house that seems to have the issue though.
