Bought this for an am/fm table top stereo, with the mini jack for AM aerial that was missing. It fit perfectly in the jack and now has great AM reception. It also has a permanent stand which has a small hole that I used to mount the whole unit to the back of my unit. Or it appears you could do the same on the nearby wall if there is a enough cable on the aerial itself.. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and the item came exactly as described, with good time in shipping.

A little puzzle to get the foot down, but a dandy antenna, Great fit for Technics 2 pin plug in antenna replacement.

Always check your device. This antenna does not fit all Sony products with antenna connections. I needed to return item.

Got no stations at all

didn't seem to work any better than that small one that it replaced. Price was right though

So my cat chewed the wires on my old AM antenna years ago. Tossed it, because I never listened to AM and I mostly use my dream machine as an alarm and speakers for my old iPhone 4. About 5 years ago I started to listen to talk radio so I modified a loop antenna to use the Sony plug for the AM radio, but I always had to move it around to get tolerable reception. Finally saw this one on Amazon and got it. The plug makes a perfect snap when you plug it in and I get no more noise when I listen to AM. Reception is the same where ever I put the antenna. You just can't mix and match antenna.
