I assume it could, it's definitely big enough. I've never seen a cat drink from one, if you know the cat will know how to use it I say it'll work!

This thing is dripping constantly. The casket is in place and the top is screwed on as tight as I can get it. Help

Sounds like you might have a defective unit. Does it leak the entire contents out? If so, I think it is defective. Air is somehow getting in, either thru an improper seal, a crack in the plastic or some other means. The gasket must be seated properly, no crimps or tears, otherwise it won't seal properly. You shouldn't have to tighten it too crazy, just snug. One thing I do is after putting on the lid, I'll give the bottle a little squeeze to pressurize it and, after putting it in the rabbit cage, it will drip a few times, but usually stops after a short while.
