It does the job
I used to use a large cooking pot and put a steamer strainer underneath it for canning. However, this method was very inconvenient and sometimes resulted in broken mason jars. Since I started using this set, canning has become much easier and I regret not having purchased it from the beginning.

Too small and too late
By the time the product was delivered it was too late to use. When I opened the product this pot is very small and not usable for what I needed it for. And for the price of $80. definitely overpriced when I could go to Walmart and buy one twice the size for half the price. Oh and when you return it, you will have to pay shipping (at least where I live in Alberta), they are reimbursing me $20 but the shipping cost over $40 to send it back. Just a warning to be diligent when ordering items online to make sure it's what you need and ask more questions about the return policy.
