Nice replacement servo that I'm using for my Traxxas slash 2wd. I'm sure it's compatible with other rc's and other applications. It is responsive for bashing around and just having fun. Will definitely buy this again for my other trucks when the time comes.

I was able to use the trx-4 upgraded metal servo horn on this without issue. I have about 12 hours of running on it, Including deep water, mud, and tumbling down the side of steep hills. So far it seems to be a great replacement for a TRX4 stock servo. The only real problem is the cable is a little too short for the TRX4, you're gonna want an extension. (You can see cable length difference in photo I posted) It can be done with no extension, but it will be ridiculously taunt, making it so you can't rout the wire down the frame rail. This results in it running directly over the trucks main motor, and it will be in the way if you need to pull the main motor out. Speed appears to be identical to my stock 2075x. You can see in video both servos running on channel 1. Strength seems slightly better than stock. Center is a little mushy not gonna be good if you need laser precision. The stock Traxxas 2075x servo seems better in that regard, but it's also 3x the price. The horn's center and the servos center were off by about a half a tooth. So no matter how I put the horn on it would be either slightly left or slightly right, causing the entire trucks steering to be out of whack. I would get too much turn to the right where the wheels would be hard against the stops, but left would not go far enough or vice versa. Remedied this by adjusting the drag link length on the truck. This is not an uncommon issue with servos in my experience. Getting the center just right is important not just so the truck has equal steering authority in both directions, but also to save unnecessary strain on the servo and the trucks steering linkages. If the servo can never move all the way to the proper position it will get hot trying and eventually burn up. Overall very satisfied for the price and will update this review when/if it fails.

First off, if you plan on using this for any high-speed/precision stuff, such as racing or drifting, don’t bother However, if you plan on using it as a spare for slower vehicles, such as a brushed slash 4x4, or some other sort of basher/backyard car, it will work fine On a crawler, it works just as well as any other budget servo, if you’re trying to save a little bit of money on a crawler and don’t need 120% performance all the time, it’ll work just fine It worked great on everything I have except my high speed Traxxas, 4 Tec and my MST 2WD drift car, would also happen to be the ones with gyros, so maybe it just doesn’t like gyros If you just need a spare to get you back out on track real quick, it’s pretty good for the price, if you need something that will get you back to first place, look somewhere else, the Traxxas 2056 is faster and has the Traxxas name

My Redcat Racing Everest 10 steering servo arm broke after a few hours of rock crawling from impacting a rock too hard. The plastic arm failed but the servo kept working. I ordered this replacement servo and aluminum arm to replace the broken one. The installation was easy and straight forward. The servo is faster and more responsive then the original and works great. 5 stars!

beautiful looking servo, well made

I bought a losi tenacity db pro because it was fully upgraded. Well losi and spektrum suck. The S605 servo would not even turn the wheels in the grass. The spektrum control has a 2 second delay between going from forward to reverse. I drove my truggy in the morning dew grass and this is what it looks like. Completely rusted . But this servo is kick but. Highly recommend. The holes are not a perfect fit but a little bit of filling and it's all good.

Works great. Great price. Aluminum mid case is a plus. Steering arm is stout and tight clamping. Only issue is the connector is not keyed and wire colors are odd so took a little trial and error to get it hooked up the right way. Power lead is an inch or two short to go with exactly the same routing as original on the Traxxas TRX-4. You can stretch it a little and get it hooked up without an extension but an extension may be a good idea.

The servo arrived in good time and the quality of the servo is as advertised.
