Better than advertised !
I did some research for an Nvme ssd for my lenovo legion y530 and found out this is the one that comes with it when you buy it with ssd. This is an amazing Pcie SSD, the numbers speak for themselves. It says that has 2800 mb/s read speeds and 3200 on Turbo but I got 3450 mb/s which is impressive. I got the 256 gb version just to have the OS on it. The read and write speeds on Crystal Disk Mark are similar to those you get with a 970 Evo. I tried, other SSD's before from other brands and here you can see samsung offers good quality for the price.I did notice the SSD thermal throttles noticeably on the write speeds as seen on the ATTO test, when it reaches more than 65º degrees, but the read speeds are still high, so if your using it to load your OS and programs this is perfect and also it does not run too hot(more than 70º) nor reaches high temperatures quickly. For the price, it is an amazing samsung ssd, fits well in laptops, low power consumption, crazy speeds if you support 4 channels, and good read speed performance/temperature. It's been good so far.I got it from Oemgenuine and came with 2 year warranty, and it was completely new

Great performance/capacity for under $100.00
This was a screaming deal at just under $90.00 when I bought it. Very fast performance overall and works great in my MSI X99A-SLI (Socket lga 2011-3) custom build PC using Windows 8.1 drivers. Sequential read and write speeds are blazing fast, getting this card over 16,000 on the Passmark 9.1 Performance test benchmark scoring system for my desktop; (well within the top 10% for SSD performance scores.)With 3D nand memory tech gaining wider market share, as more SSD manufactuers are using it, prices should start dropping pretty steeply as more competition pulls away cost conscious buyers looking for more affordable performance. There's a good chance that we will start seeing good performance 512GB SSD's on the retail market for under $130 by June or July of 2019, instead of just these 240-256GB ones we're starting to see now.

Works great is a huge pain to install a OS on ...
Works great is a huge pain to install a OS on this because it is OEM it is not setup to be seen by Windows installer you need the get the Samsung NVMe drivers extract them to a usb then when you go to install when it asked you what drive you want to use you click have disc select your usb drive let it run its thing because at first this drive will not be listed once the drivers are installed the device will be ready. Also because this is OEM there will be no updating the firmware none of Samsung's utility's see this drive and there is nothing that can be done some will be seen if your lucky i wasn't

Excellent Device But Requires Some Setup
Excellent device and works super fast but requires some set up if you want to load your operating system (in my case, Windows) on it. I had to have this as the C drive, and another drive as the data drive (E) - my computer didn't automatically recognize which drive to boot from and so it required some fiddling to work properly. But after it did, it works fabulously, and is faster than regular 2.5 Inch SATA SSDs. 5 stars for performance, 3 stars for setup. Average 4 stars.

Everything is super!
It does not include a retention screw, though those are typically provided by your main board manufacturer, it would be helpful. Installed smooth as butter, no issues detecting the SSD. I'm using it for a Linux nanoPC, but it was partitioned for Windows; a minor annoyance but not entirely unexpected. Super fast and super oversized for my use case. :)

Great Performance
I upgraded from sm951 256Gb x 2 Raid 0 to pm961 256Gb x 2 Raid 0. There is not much difference, maybe 10% here and there in benchmarks. The performance difference is probably more substantial if not using raid 0, but a single drive instead.Samsung brought the m.2 prices down but about 35% compared to previous generation. I hope they do that with SATA SSD drives soon.Update:on windows 10 anniversary edition i couldn't install Intel RST, i changed back to regular windows 10 version and with RST installed the results are different with cache mode: write back and link power management disable options.

Is 100% working. And it’s definitely pretty fast!
Definitely would recommend one of these fast boys. They get what you need on a m.2 motherboard done insanely fast! Faster than a regular SSD. And very cheap! NVMe is what is hot on this device! Amazing!

Better than more expensive Samsung SSDs
The SSD card works great so far. Easy to install. Oddly, though it had Leveno factory software installed on it. I of course formatted the drive, for security reasons, before installing the factory software for my HP Omen laptop. This does not mean the drive was used, all that was done to it was a manufacturer loaded their OEM OS suite on it, but never installed it. Those who claim that these SSDs are "used" are incorrect. However, the seller and Amazon should include in the description that the SSD may come preloaded and should be formatted before use.
