Best ever!
Don't be fooled by the low price. These are nice quality and the best dog nail clippers i've ever used. Comfortable handle and sharp cutting edge. Small enough to make them easy to handle and safe for the dog. Highly recommended purchase.

Cat nail trimmers
These are listed as dog nail trimmers, however the actual item and packaging markets these as cat trimmers. That being said, they do work well for my 10 pound mini dachshund. They just barely work on my 20 pound standard dachshund, so if your dog is any bigger than that I'd recommend another brand.

The curved design lets me see how much claw is between the blades.
This is definitely the right size for smaller dogs: my two adult dogs are 12-pounds. I hope these become available again. I researched extensively before first purchase (July 2021) and again at time of this review. Nothing else is shaped & sized as well for the job as this nail clipper. I’m looking for a new one because the one I have is still serviceable, but not as sharp as when new. If my dogs were not so skittish and resistant to nail clipping, that wouldn’t matter, so if your dog is calmer and more trusting, it should not be an issue. Because these have worked so well for us, (2 rescues severely abused by previous owners) I would not mind replacing clippers twice a year, particularly at this great price (under $5).
