Toys Generations Legacy Series Titan Cybertron Universe Metroplex Action Figure - Ages 15 and Up, 22-inch

I absolutely love this Metroplex. The figure is perfect. Meaning, the articulation is crisp and tight. No loose parts. Nothing came broken. Great price for it as well. This thing is massive. And yet, he was fun to transform. If you on the fence about buying him... Just pull the trigger. Worth it.

I grew up with Transformers Cybertron and Metroplex was always a favorite of the original line, this figure wont be for fans who only care about Generation one, but I think its something that really FEELS like the fully realized version of the character now that he towers over most, if not every other figure I own. The biggest thing I appreciate about this update is just how solid he feel's in every mode, standing strong even with his Axe held far out in one hand. The Excavator mode rolls wonderfully and just feels weighty and quality. The "Work" mode was the one I was least interested in as it wasn't part of the original toy in this exact form, though I can't say its bad its just the mode I have mine spend the least amount of time in, still just as solid as the other two modes and look super cool to boot. Over all I can fully recommend this figure to anyone who's looking for a Titan that might be a bit "out there" for the size class. Is it a city? no, Is it "generation 1 accurate" obviously not, but those are the exact reasons I feel in love with the original as a kid, and why Im even more in love with this stellar update. This is an update to MY Metroplex, and anyone saying it's not good simply for the fact its not the original needs to remember Transformers isn't just limited to the stuff from their childhoods, and that this is a wonderful step in making sure life long fans like myself who are a good few years younger than the days of G1 have their favorites brought into the modern age too.

What can I say but, MY GOD. This is basically the Cybertron Metroplex we dreamed of as kids! He's a beautifully upscaled version of the classic, without being a flat-out copy! The transformation is nostalgic but updated! He's also incredibly poseable! I mean, he has an ab-crunch and a double-hinged neck for crying out loud! Only complaint is the weapon. Don't get me wrong, it's awesomely huge and looks the part. But it tends to fall out of the hands if the angle isn't just right. My main complaint about it is that it's lost its gimmick from the original. I can live without the Cyberkey, but I feel like the saw should still open, especially at this scale. Otherwise, he's magnificent! Highly recommend!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loved it! It was even bigger in person than I had expected.

Love this transformer, such great enginering on the toy, amazing articulation, extreme possibility, is very heavy, mine was second hand so it was a bit dirty, but other then that I really recommend!

This is BIG. Feels pretty darned durable. I’ve never owned a large transformer like this and it was in sale, so I bit down and made the purchase. The articulation is supremely GREAT and caught me off guard with the ab crunch and hand articulation. Ankle has some range of motion too, so you can actually get some pretty incredible poses with it. If it’s on sale, buy because it’s worth the purchase. My only gripe is how freakin HUGE this is. I had to transform it to its smallest of the 3 forms it has and it’s still HUGE.

I finally got my hands on a Cybertron Metroplex! I never got the original toy, but I'm not too upset as this figure dwarfs that one by comparison. Metroplex is HUGE as a Titan, wielding a massive weapon that fits his alternate modes perfectly, and all his joints are tight and secure. Can stand and hold poses perfectly, hefty, and looks so cool!

This is a great version of Metroplex. It is very detailed, has great articulation, colour is sharp and generally well made. Size is massive and it’s heavy, which gives the impression of a well built transformer. Quality of construction aligns with the price tag. It would be great if Hasbro included a small story or description about this version of Metroplex, including stats on fire power, speed, etc - like the G1 transformer issues back in the early 90s. Kids love it. Works great as a display piece and a toy for the kids to enjoy. Kids love it and so do I. Highly recommend!

for the sale price of 110 its a steal but you will need the upgrade from DNK as it fills the hollow spaces and he gets hands with movable fingers. coz the original needed an upgrade so it gets a 4 star

Got this when it was listed for around £90, and it's easily a highlight of my collection. It's got good articulation for a Titan and some neat playability too, but overall doesn't feel worth anywhere near the full ~£200 retail price for the size class. I'd definitely recommend picking one up for under £100.
