These lights were incredibly easy to put up and look fantastic! I only needed three of the four, so I have an extra in case anything happens down the road. The remote does work on the lights while they are underwater, but you have to be right on top of it. Because of the limited range, I can't change them all at the same time and need to go to each light individually and point the remote directly at it. Despite this, it is still completely worth it to me, especially rather than replacing the actual pool light housing, which is very costly. The provided glue held the first two lights perfectly, but for some reason, the third didn't want to stick and the second tube of glue was dried out/hard. I'll just have to buy an extra tube of waterproof adhesive, but it's not a big deal at all. The lights are bright, you can easily change the color with the remote, and they light up the whole pool and hot tub beautifully. Highly recommend!

One year later. These lights are an affordable way to luxe up your pool with lighting. We have a pool light that no one wanted to fix and I've always been a little bummed because in Arizona swimming during the heat of the day is not very pleasant. We do our swimming in the evenings. When I saw these existed I jumped on the bandwagon and bought some. I have a 12,500 gallon odd shaped play pool and I bought a set of 4 lights. First off, installation was pretty easy in my pebbletec pool. I had to be somewhat generous with the glue, but it did stick really well. Have not had any problems with them since installing last year. The lights do pretty well staying on the magnatized blocks. If we get rowdy they can get knocked off but they just float around until we put them back. The remote it came with still works. But, there are a few issues. Even with our small pool, turning the lights on all at once is tricky. We usually have to walk around the pool and turn them on individually. Also, and hilariously, the remote turns on and off their deck lighting! I suspect the family might think their deck is haunted! The lights are lovely. They do not light up the pool incandescently at all. But, 4 lights in our pool do a great job of illuminating where we are swimming very well. The lighter colors do better, obviously, but the dark reds, violets, and blues looks amazing and a bit more mysterious. They do a decent job of holding a charge, but I have NOT set them on the timer yet. My plan this year is the have a 2 or 4 hour timer set so I imagine I'll need to recharge more frequently. Before I just turned them on if we were going to be outside and/or swimming in the twilight. To recharge them you just remove them from the pool, and dry them off well, open the silicone seal and they charge quite quickly. They flash red, and when the flashing is just sold red they are ready to go. Honestly, for the price, I'd replace these yearly if i had to! But, we are heading into year two and I got them inside and charged up and they are ready to go. They are not as good as lighting you would get having fancy upcale lighting installed, but the value, to me, is out of this world! I've had no problems with them. They all work. They are water tight. The remote still works. I'm so, so, so happy with these. They are fun!

I looked for underground pool lights for a long time and found this product, it was the best purchase I've made on Amazon this year. I used this for my child's grad party and they were a huge success! so many compliments- made the aesthetic for the evening. The charge lasts longer than i thought, ive had them for a few weeks now and have charged them only twice. Very easy installation, no slippage from where they were glued on. I have 4 of them for out pool size of 22 x 44 feet. I'll be getting another package of 4 to make it a little brighter. But the colors that change are cool. Remote works for all of them at the same time. Sometimes it doesn't connect to all 4 at the same time with the larger space, but then I aim it again and they all go at the same time. I take off the lights when I use my robot. But obviously, keep the glued on magnetic square (that doesn't come off). The robot goes right over it - no problem at all. These are not electric lights so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing light quality, but I was surprised at how much light they did give.

The installation was very simple. It is exactly as read. It comes with the epoxy glue. You apply it on the backside of the plate and gently press it to the side of your pool for 90 seconds. Let it sit overnight by the next day the glue has dried permanently and the plates will hold the lights in place. As for the lights, they’re quite bright and they do change colors. But you need to know something. If you want to set up your multiple lights to change colors simultaneously you have to remove the lights from the pool and place them right next to one another. If your lights are in the pool and you’re trying to sync them, it will be impossible as the remote will not work despite its claims. It claims that you just hold the remote and press it multiple times to turn the lights on and that’s not the case at all. You have to individually go around to your pool and point the remote at each light to turn it on therefore if you’re trying to flash or fade your lights, they will not work simultaneously. I’ve only had this for a short time and I charged each of my lights. I’ve probably had the lights on for a total of four hours. I see no reason why the claims of the battery stability of 50 hours to 150 hours would not be reasonable. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase as my main light in my pool went out. Rather than spend several hundred dollars on a new light these are a fine replacement for much less cost and to be honest they brighten up the pool better than my single pool light this was a good investment.

First of this comes with 4 lights, magnet backs to the lights, water safe glue, and 2 type-c chargers. These lights are very bright and since our pool is vinyl, there’s metal pools and the lights actually stick to our pool wall without needing to use the glue!!!! I attached many photos and videos showing how amazing these are. There also so many color variations and I love how now my dark pool is lit up!!! The controller is awesome at changing all the lights.

I would give these 4-5 stars but one stopped working after 3 months and now I can’t get a hold of customer service and I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before the other 3 stop working. I gave these to my husband for Father’s Day and he loved them! The light in the pool looked awesome and they were surprisingly easy to install. The remote works most of the time with them but not all the time. They’re great when they work but I don’t believe they last very long.

I don’t often write reviews but I do read them. My $600 pool lights (x2) failed and I looked at options to replace them. (I can replace them myself since the pool builder wants $1600 per light to do so - no way! But I digress.) Last year I bought some Temu-type lights that were solar and hung on the sides of the pool. They lasted maybe a month, which isn’t much when we rarely swim in the evenings and hence don’t use these lights often. Which led me to these. We were having a family reunion over the July 4th weekend and I wanted some light in the pool. The price of these is drastically cheaper than replacing the PentAir bulbs so I bought them. Charged all 4 after they arrived then placed two in the pool. They may not be as bright as the PentAir bulbs but they get the job done. I’d put the magnetic plates just above the existing lights, and am considering putting the other two on the opposite side. (I have a 15’ x 36’ in ground pool.) Right now I’ve just kept the other 2 charged and to replace the current ones in the pool when they get low and that seems to work well. Note that the lights may get bumped with normal pool play (okay, roughhousing - I have 3 boys). This is okay because they float!! I asked during the reunion if they found one floating to just put it on the pool deck, which did happen. No big deal, I just returned it where it needed to be later. I can’t yet attest to their longevity; I’ll try to come back and update in a few months. But all in all, I’m happy with them so far!

Obsessed with these! I have an 18’ round pool and bought 2 packs. Super bright and great battery life! Stuck right the the sides via magnet.
