Great journal with thought provoking questions!
As an avid listener to Eve’s podcast I was excited to see this workbook. It is a prompted journal that walks you through processing misattributed parentage. There is plenty of room to write, and there aren’t questions that feel like they lack meaning or purpose. For many counseling is hard to come by for various reasons, and in this particular community there are not many professionals who even know how to address these discoveries, so this journal is what I imagine it would be like to work with someone who actually understands, who can help you go through the experience in a safe and supportive space. These are also fantastic conversation starters for for friends and family who want to be supportive but don’t know how to bring it up or what questions to ask.

Therapy in a book!
You are not going to find much out there to help you on your healing path when it comes to a true identity crisis. This is a true gem! I am beyond grateful to have found this processing journal and the author, Eve, who created it. Pair these writing prompts with her online journal course and you will bond with those on the same healing journey as yourself. Priceless!

A must have if you have experienced any kind of DNA Surprise
I have taken Eve's writing workshop several times. Its based around the prompts in thia book. Each time Inwalk away having learned something more about myelf. Bravo Eve.I am a Late Discovery Adoptee and experienced years later via DNA test that my biological dad was not my biological dad. Eve asks just the right questions. I loved these writing prompts. They give me the opportunity to reflect, write it all out and heal from the act of writing. Thank you Eve Sturges for putting this book out into the world.

Extremely helpful
The format of this journal is both precise and “just right” to be able all emotions for discovering you are an “NPE” child. The journal allows you to vent, uninhibited.

A Huge Help!
This journal is so very helpful! As an NPE, I feel like those around me get tired of my wanting to talk about the same things over and over. This gives me a place to record all of my thoughts. Hoping I can look back at in 5 years and see positive changes in my new relationships and life in general!P.S. Also check out the ‘Everything’s Relative’ podcast. Hearing other people’s stories is as helpful as recording my own story in the journal!

Therapeutic and healing
Purchased this journal after discovering my NPE surprise. Both Eve's podcast "Everything is Relative" and her journal have been so helpful in helping me understand and process my trauma. I am currently enrolled in her writing course and the journal prompts are invaluable in organizing my feelings and thoughts. I highly recommend this journal.

Unexpected DNA discovery
Thank you Eve for giving us this space to write. As someone who made my NPE Discovery last year this is a valuable resource to use to work through and process the complex feelings that this has brought up for me.
