JVN Complete Instant Recovery Hair Serum, 3.4 Fl Oz

I love this stuff for my thinning curly hair. It helps tame frizz and define my curls without adding any crunch or heaviness. The only thing that would make it better would be a more hygienic packaging where you aren’t having to stick your hands inside the jar. I adore the scent.

I have "good" hair - good natural volume, curly/wavy texture, and I get great haircuts from someone I trust. Product has always been a crapshoot. Gel doesn't work. Mousse is meh. I want volume and definition but not greasy, and I don't want puffy either. Also I'm impatient so if I can do without any heat style tools that's what I want. I'm happy to take any cowlick or frizzy piece, stretch it and pin it down while wet, so it'll air drive smooth. That's the extent of the effort I want to put in. The whole point of the great haircut is to eliminate "styling time." These products are perfect. I put the JVN air dry in my wet hair, pin whatever pieces I want to shape, let it air dry and the result lasts for days without additional product. Lightweight, smells very fresh, no build up, just as promised, and it kills the frizz. It took longer to figure out how to use the recovery serum but wet the hair a bit, rub the serum between your palms, rake it through and neaten up with a Denman brush, it works. These two products cover my hair "styling" needs without anything else.

I saw this product on TV and decided to give it a try. I have curly hair and I wanted my curls to have well-formed spirals, shine and frizz-free. In order to have this look I also purchased the JVN complete pre-wash scalp oil (1.7 fl oz). I use them together according to the instructions. The final result looked amazing! I recommend these two products.

I would give it 10 stars if I could! My hair has never been softer or shinier and it smells amazing! I use it with the JVN blow out styling mill and it is an amazing duo. Make sure you rub it between your palms to heat it up before applying!

I just opened the jar, and it looks like half the product is missing and it’s all balled up. I emailed JVN customer care since this is my first trial of JVN products and got an AI response which is frustrating as well. I should have read the reviews beforehand so I knew what to expect. It’s like opening a really expensive bag of chips only to find a 1/2 the bag is air. I cannot reiterate enough that, for higher end products, to have to deal with an automated answer from customer service at JVN is frustrating and shows little care. I am capable of searching FAQs - I wanted human feedback. Hopefully the product is really amazing enough to counter the first two blemishes- I’ll update later.

I bought the small size to test it out and I loved it so much that I just ordered one of the larger size. This serum has made my hair feel so much healthier and thicker. It's also an amazing heat protectant and really helps with any frizz I might have. I have very thin, color treated hair. I started using this product about 3 weeks ago and my hair has never looked better. It's a little pricey - but I think it's worth it!
