FUMOTO F-137: STANDARD VALVE WITH 12MM-1.75 THREADS WITH LEVER CLIP

Great Customer support. I had an issue with mine that I think was probably user error, I’m not ashamed to admit that. Reached out to them and they sent me a new one. No questions asked. And installed the new one and there’s no leak whatsoever. The old one was leaking, but I think I may have installed it incorrectly. All I can say is they definitely stand behind their product. I have a different one for my jeep and I love it. It does drain a little bit slow, but it is so much easier to work with. The price is a little high, but if you change the oil as much as I do, the convenience over time is worth it. It fit great on my Ford F150.

I had some issues getting it installed on my 2013 Focus as the clearance between one of the subframe bars and the area where this would be installed was too tight. Ended up using it on a different car and it worked great there.

I'm not new to Futomo. I swapped over in my Silverado a few years ago and it has been going strong. Got another one for my Explorer this time, I've just been lazy and every time I want to change it I've already changed the oil. This time I just bought it and let it sit til I needed to change the oil. So this specific item has only been on the vehicle for about a month but I can't complain I love this brand in general. If you're new to it yes you it does take longer to drain, no you don't get messy anymore. It's not magnetic like most basic drain plugs. I saw someone put a magnet on his futomo so it can work similar. Idk, it's not as important to me as it is for others. The nozzle is bigger than the one on my silverado and as all Futomo's its easy to use that a child could help with the oil change. Haven't had any leakage on the old or new one. I heard of this brand years back, I have no idea if alternative brands exist I never checked but for the price and quality I don't think I will ever have to shop around.
