Bormioli RoccoNadia Double Old Fashioned Glass, Set of 4

I bought my first set of these Nadia glasses by Bormioli Rocco in 2011. We use these as all purpose glasses for anything from juice, water, serving alcohol, etc. I love the size and shape of these glasses as I find them attractive and really comfortable to hold, plus the thickness of the lip feels perfect. These are clear glass and are lovely, affordable and made in Italy. I also like that I can stack them in the cupboard (two stacked are under 6" high). These glasses are durable too. We've run them through the dishwasher almost daily since 2011, and they're still in very good condition. I'm only just now noticing minor blemishes as I'm examining them closely for this review.Due to carelessness loading the dishwasher, I broke one for the first time two nights ago- not bad after using them daily for almost 5 years and having some incidents where they've either been knocked over or slipped out of my hands while rinsing them. I just ordered my second set (they've only gone up about $2 since 2011), and I'm assuming they're still the same high quality glasses made in Italy, but I'll update my review if the new ones are different in any way. These glasses are simple, but are attractive and durable. They're awesome all purpose glasses that I definitely recommend.7/30/2016 Update: The new set arrived and they are exactly the same as the set I bought in 2011 and are still made in Italy. I love these glasses.

They're great glasses, as advertised, but 1/4 was shattered upon arrival. I had intended to etch these as a Christmas gift quartet, but I guess I'll have to redesign the set to accommodate the lacking one. Shipping to replace the one will take too long and cost too much.

I've been looking for a glass to adopt as my go-to glass for drinking bourbon. I tend to enjoy my whiskeys either neat or with a ice ball. This glass has proving great for both. I've also noticed my girlfriend using it for more exotic drinks as well. It has a nice design all around, thinly walled but with a nicely weighted base, overall light weight as well. Very comfortable drinking glass. And at its price, I'm not too worried about breaking one.

I love the shape and contour of these glasses. They are substantial in the hand plus look refined with anything you drink in them. I've had them for 1.5 years, but in a set of two (8 total), two glasses have broken. These may not be for everyday use & regular dishwashing. Again, I do love them, but missing two glasses already is disappointing.

I bought these based on the glowing reviews here on Amazon as a gift and less than 5 months in (with not much use), two are already cracked. We LOVE the design and how sturdy they feel, but are both pretty disappointed with their longevity and definitely will not be buying more to supplement the broken ones. Too bad.

I just bought myself a nice bottle of whiskey to celebrate the birth of our second child and thought i'd treat myself to some new glasses as wel. These are perfect!They say they are dishwasher safe but i have been washing them by hand. One of them did make it to the wash when my mother in law came over and seems fine.They have a great weight to them and don't at all feel like they're going to chip easily like many glasses do.They fit great in my hand and at $5 each I couldn't be happier!

These DOF glasses are good; it holds my Scotch. However, the workmanship is not as good as other glasses I've seen. If I had seen these in person before I ordered, I would have spent more for better ones.

The Bormioli line is exquisitely simple and elegant. The shape of this Double Old Fashioned Glass is lovely to hold and is my go-to for most adult beverages from a margarita to a bellini to whisky on the rocks.
