FoodSaver® Reusable Gallon Vacuum Zipper Bags

I started making my dogs food about 6 months ago and was going thru a lot of ziploc bags. Decided to buy these zippered reuasable food saver bag. They are easy to use (just use the included black zipper tool to ensure a good seal). I used the accessory attachment on my food saver and it worked great. So far have used to store/freeze ground beef and carrots. Will also use for freezing cooked rice. Highly recommend so far. Have not tried to wash and reuse them yet. Will update review if they do not hold up.

I originally bought these bags because we always buy 5lb bags of cheese from sams club and they go bad way faster than we can get them used. So we needed a way to seperate and freeze. After trying and loving them! Im def buying more to store my garden produce. Love that they are reusable all my bags sealed very nicely. They seem pretty thick and the size perfect to portion smaller quantities. The quality overall seems good and they have been in the freezer a few days and seem to be holding up just fine.

These Foodsaver reusable gallon-size vacuum zipper bags are a great option for food storage. The large size easily fits four chicken breasts, making them perfect for meal prepping or bulk storage. Using them with the hand vacuum is simple and effective, and with 10 bags in a pack, there are plenty for multiple uses.One of the biggest conveniences is that they’re microwave-safe for easy thawing and work great for sous vide cooking, holding up well in hot water. However, one of the bags stopped sealing after just one use, which was disappointing. Most of them have worked fine, but durability could be improved.Overall, these are versatile and easy to use, making them a great choice for anyone looking to vacuum-seal food without the waste of single-use bags. Despite the occasional sealing issue, they’re still a solid purchase.

Fully functional for preparing a meal. Using a plastic bag that can have its air removed completely (this bag being advertised) can be cooked perfectly. I use a ANOVA cooking device to cook this freezeability bag. These bags are reusable when washed appropriately.

I had to get some vac bags since I bought a small handheld Vacuum system for the home. They are better than expected, but be aware they are not the flimsy things you would expect. They are a pain to get open and shut but, they hold their vaccuum exceptionally well. I'll buy again!!

Initially I was having issues with the bag leaking after being sealed. After a couple failures I realized I just needed to take my time sealing and ensure both sides are lined up and tightly sealed; not a fault of the bag, but worth mentioning for those that may have the same issue. I regularly use the bags to store chopped onions and garlic in the freezer. After a few months of infrequent use (opened once or twice a week), the seal separated entirety when I tried to open the bag. I assumed it was a one-off and an issue with how I opened the bag, until the second bag's seal had the same issue shortly after. It appears to be a manufacturing quality issue or may be unique to use in a freezer. They may not have been inteded to last over a few months, but at the price point and noted as reusable I had higher expectations.Overall a descent product, but not worth rebuying until the faulty seal issue is resolved.
