I've been really impressed with this Amazon Basics Daily Moisturizing Oatmeal Body Lotion. It's lightweight, fragrance free and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy or sticky feeling behind. My skin feels soft and hydrated all day, even after washing my hands several times. I appreciate that it's gentle enough for sensitive skin and doesn't contain a strong scent that competes with perfume or other products. The oatmeal formula is soothing, especially during dry weather when my skin tends to get itchy. The bottle is convenient to use and a little goes a long way, making it a great value for the price. My wife loves this lotion. She wishes they would have put it in a jar. The lotion is really thick. It works really great and is not greasy feeling.

I bought this as a moisturizing base before beach days, on my dermatologist s-style routine: at home I apply this lotion first, let it sink in, then tanning cream, and then layer broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF) on top. I didn’t finish the bottle over the season, and now I use it after the shower as my everyday body lotion. Works as it should. Similar to Aveeno at a much better price point. Does have a bit of a smell, but it dissipates quickly on skin.

My 88yo dad is in a rehab facility after a lengthy hospital stay and they kept him on a diuretic after his edema got under control so he had extremely dry, rough, split open skin on his arms and legs. They were painful for him and this lotion really helped. Once I got him off the diuretic the moisture came back to his skin healed up quickly with the help of this lotion. He is "against" lotion bc he says he doesn't like the greasy feeling but I knew better about the colloidal oatmeal lotion. He didn't want it but after he rubbed some on his forearm and felt how smooth and creamy this leaves your skin he wanted it daily! I bought a 2nd bottle so I could have some at home for myself.

I picked this lotion because it is free of every ingredient on my naughty list. I like to choose a drop or two of various essential oils for scent each time I lotion my whole body, so fragrance free is good for that. It makes flakiness and dryness disappear, yet isn’t slimy or greasy in hot, humid weather. Especially nice is that it helps with the itchy rashes I get from cancer treatment without smelling like medicine. I wish I had ordered a multi-pack!

After the "other" brand changed their formulas, my skin was so much worse off. Their lotion was the ONLY one I could use that wouldn't inflame my skin or break me out. I just about gave up hope on calm and clear skin until I found this product. It has the original formula and thus the BEST formula. My skin stays so hydrated and calm throughout the day with just the smallest amount. No more burning, tightness, or breakouts. This is a true skin protectant. Excellent product. You can't go wrong with it! Now I just have to hope and pray that they don't mess with the ingredients and take away what makes it special. They have a new loyal customer!

So far, it’s an okay product. It says unscented, but I can clearly smell a subtle light scent. Trust me, I have sensitive smell and skin, and I’ve tried many unscented lotions, but this one has, as I said, a subtle light smell. Overall, though, it is a good product. I’ve just started using it, so I’m hoping it works for me regardless of the subtle scent, which I hope can change because it’s for a good price.
