I purchased two of these planters for my garden to keep away the woodchucks, rabbits and rats. So far I have had spectacular results with growing my garden vegetables with out them being attacked. The only issues I have with these units is that the assembly is with standard zinc plated screws which will rust within less than a year outside or exposed to rain. In addition, Cedar which is rot resistance is easily split unlike many other types of wood and after assembly I had several pieces split after assembly which could be a tolerance issue. In addition, the gray stain was transparent and not a solid gray as expected.With this being said I would still consider purchase of additional units but would replace the screws with stainless steel ones.

When this arrived, first thing we did was to verify all pieces were included. Couldn't locate to top caps. Contacted the vendor and after a little bit of lost in translation, they offered a discount to keep the item. While trying to assemble, one of the long side pieces was warped and very difficult to try to get into end piece. Damage was being done trying this, so contacted vendor again to advise. They advised that they would send a complete new one and to keep to one we had so that hopefully between the two we would be able to complete one. It is not easy to assemble. Really need two people and a battery operated screwdriver. Otherwise your hands and wrist will be worn out. Also a rubber mallet is handy. Overalll, completed product looks great.

Bought this raised garden for my patio. I also have a potting bench from this company that I bought last year. The potting bench held up great so far so when I needed this I decided to use Best Choice Products again. Product was well packaged. The Attach ribbon the the hardware bag and tape the ribbon to the box so it can't fall out of the box if it's damaged. I love that! Directions were clear and concise. This only took about 20 minutes to put together. I gave it 4 stars because I feel the wood could've been thicker and for the price other brands have a bottom shelf. I am confident this will hold up though so I'd rather have that then a shelf!

This planter is attractive and very easy to assemble. We filled it with soil, added herbs and seeds and watered. A few minutes later we heard a big “crack” and saw that the bottom board on the back side had split. I managed to repair it with a pneumatic jack, some powerful glue and braces but thought you should know of this failure. Thank you.
