Light Society Thurston 5-Light Adjustable Chandelier Pendant, Matte Gold with Clear Glass Shades, Modern Lighting Fixture (LS-C126)

For the price, this is a great light. At a fraction of the cost of the inspiration light (a cost I would never pay for a light fixture), this one fits the bill. I've received a ton of compliments from friends who agree that it provides a nice modern element in my fairly traditional dining room.. I like that it's adjustable in many directions so you can really make this the shape that you want. It looks great in my dining room. I bought LED edison bulbs at the home improvement store and they look amazing. Installation was a little more difficult than smaller fixtures because of the size and the flexibility in the arms. It might be easier if you tighten all of the joints before you hang it and then adjust the arms the way you want. Even thought I didn't do it that way (it was floppy when I put it up), I was able to hang it myself without help.

This is okay, but the gold color is spray painted on and extremely delicate. You have to be very careful not to scratch or strip the screws. I am sure this is how they keep the costs down. Additionally, it is hard to get balanced just right. I would note the color gives away that this is gold paint and the piece from the mount to the lamp does not have fixed joints, so mine sits at a slight angle. The paint quality could be better and I would prefer fixed joints on the rod from the mount.

So this lighting fixture looks very high end for 1/10 of the price of something you would get at a lighting design store. I have this hanging over my 58" round dining table and the 5 light version hanging over my large kitchen island. They look like art installations and everyone loves them. I put LED Edison bulbs in them and it looks amazing, they give off plenty of light. The one complaint I have is the finish is a little more golden than a brushed brass, which generally had a cooler tone. Overall, I highly recommend.

Beautiful Light. paint did chip as I was trying to cut zip ties. they were fastened a little too tightly to the frame of the light. Like other reviewers stated it is trick to balance especially if you are hanging closer to the ceiling like we did. We had to manipulate it a bit to keep it from touching the ceiling in parts. Also at the joints the electrical cord was too long so it was really annoying to have to wrap and then hold just perfectly to screw joints together. But honestly.. it was worth the extra time to hang.

Flimsy - wish i could return it.

This chandelier is beautiful! It was easy to assemble, you can adjust the arms the way you want them to be before installation. The glass globes make it look stunning, expensive. I’m very happy with the price for what I got. Definitely a conversation piece for our space.

Mind you the price of this item. It’s a cheap version of a light that cost 2000 plus. That said, the quality is very low. It came ok with the package without too many scratches. The problem is when you start to install. Both the cable and metals are very weak. To install the light you will have to twist the cable with the hook on it. The cable lose its sleeve super easy, and almost every moving part of the light starts to have scratch mark. It took us 30 mins to balance the light, leaving at least three or four major scratch just simply by the parts touch each other. We bought this for a quick fix and flip condo. So once it’s install I really don’t care about the quality, however, I will never buy this for my home. If anyone looks closely at the light, you see how cheap it is.

I ignored the negative reviews and took a chance on the fixture. Everyone thought the light looked stunning in the space. The gold finish looks fine and I can’t tell that the globes aren’t real glass unless I’m touching them. Go for it if you are hesitant.
