Could this be used as a mulch? I'm looking for a mulch that won't attract termites.

Well when it’s time for new bedding for my snakes I just toss the old around the garden or in holes my dog has dug up lol I mean I’ve never heard of termites attracted to this product how I would describe it is a soft textured dirt if your talking about for a snake I joined a live and they said not to use this because it can get stuck in the vents around their mouth but outside I think it’s good I guess
