I use these jaw clips on a daily basis to pull back my hair for workouts, swimming etc. I am also pretty fussy when it comes to them as I have long, but fine hair and there are so many on the market that are poorly made and lack a grip but thankfully this is not one of them.Most importantly; this is well made, with a very strong grip that will hold your hair in place all day (and yes through a strenuous workout ). The version I got - with a tortoiseshell pattern - was also very eye catching.The thing that I could not ignore however was the price. I buy these things all the time and usually for well under $10 at places like Nordstrom Rack. This is no difference in quality from any of the others that I own (through this is significantly better than those you find at drug stores ) yet twice the price and I fear buyers will have a hard time justifying the purchase. It comes in a very nice display box and well wrapped so that is a nice touch and it could be gifted, but not really sure how often one would need to gift a jaw clip so maybe a better price and less packaging would make this a better deal!That said, its very nice, works well and loved the design.

Style: ShellThis is a gorgeous hair clip that must be seen to appreciate the design. For some reason, the photo doesn't pick up the color and light reflection the same way the eyes do when actually seeing this clip. I was a little afraid that it would be too gaudy just by seeing the picture. But it blends so much better in real life and is very pretty. It's also much shinier than most others that I've seen .Clips like these always have me a bit leery because my hair is so thin. Most just slide right out of my hair. This style of clip tends to stay in with some of them having better staying power than others. This particular clip is very tight and stays wonderfully. It's very sturdy and well made and does exactly what's its intended to do. Looks very nice in my hair also.It comes packaged in quite a nice black box with a ribbon. A very impressive touch but that's not what makes this clip worth owning.The only negative I have to say is that I think that, as nice as this hair clip is, it is way over priced. Sure, it looks good and is well made, but way, way too expensive for what it is and not a price point that most people would take a chance on when you can get so many others so much cheaper. This one is a cut above but not for that much more in price.

I am really happy with this hair clip from EVITA PERONI. I ordered the "Shell" color and it is beautiful and unique. It looks like abalone or mother of pearl. Aside from the looks of this clip, it has great functionality. I have a lot of straight fine shoulder-length hair and often find that clips aren't strong enough to grip effectively. Because I don't have any texture to my hair they tend to just slide out. This clip has a nice strong hinge and grip that stays in my hair. This hair clip comes in very nice boxed packaging - very nice presentation. Something to note is that, although a Danish brand, this EVITA PERONI hair clip was manufactured in China.

This clip is gorgeous. Similar to my Luxe clips, It doesn't snag or pull your hair. Unlike cheap combs and clips, the teeth are all smooth.Spring action is on the tight side, but that's part of what helps it stay in place.It holds even my fine hair in place, but the clip itself is large enough to wear it could accommodate coarse or very thick hair.The weight of it is also nice. Just enough to feel substantial, but not so hefty that it pulls your hair down or feels uncomfortable.Comes packaged in a nice box, complete with a little ribbon.

The first thing I noticed about this hair clip was the beautiful shell design. It's just gorgeous! I've let my hair grow long and I use a hair clip every day in the shower so it must be durable. This hair clip looks to be very sturdy and durable. Even if you don't plan on using it for yourself, it comes in a very nice black box with a ribbon around it so it's a great gift idea too. I feel I got a great value for the cost and I know you'll be very happy with this purchase.
